i think she also felt like being in love with freddie will make her weak (she sort of implies that freddie and her cant be together anymore in 4x07 bc he made her weak and thats why she went mad). i guess she feels like her made her too vulnerable and emotional and cook had this "i dont give a fuck about anyone or anything" attitude she wanted to have thats why she kept hooking up with him. just my opinion but i also agree with yours which is actually very similar to mine tbh <3 love ur blog btw

I completely agree, I felt as though she always liked to be in control of everything around her and in control of her emotions and that if she chose Freddy she would lose that control because love made her feel weak

Why do you think that Effy always chooses Cook over Freddy? I've never understood, she's obviously loves Freddy but she always picks Cook, who hurts her over and over again... I know he doesn't mean to, but he's bad for her ! I love Freddy and I'm fed up of seeing Effy her him and herself at the same time...

Effy at the point where she was with Cook, was secretly struggling with her own mental issues and I get the impression that she found it hard to show true love and affection so she would rather have a purely sexual relationship with Cook than have to feel emotions being with Freddy. I think the most intriguing part of her character is that she feels so much but she hides it under her skin, that's what I feel the resemblance of using the title 'Skins' is.

What kind of bands do you think effy would listen to?

I think she would listen to old heavy metal bands like metallica, iron maiden and Judas priest. But I can also see her listening to BMTH, Asking Alexandria, OMAM and maybe My Chemical Romance

Was it just me or where rise and fire like well produced movies, did your perception of cook change after rise?

Now that u have said that I have noticed that they are actually really cinematic, my perception of Cook still stayed the same. I think Cook does stupid things because deep down he hates himself and I guess that's a really sad thing

I ask myself this everyday, I think its her beautiful eyes but just all round she is perfect
