Inspired by this piece of Hilda art made by @maareyas that caused Hilda to move into my brain like Ravio moved into Link's house. Thank you for leaving so many nice comments, not just on some of mine but also on the art of other people!

This also goes for everyone else who liked the art I put out this year. Thank you so much for making tumblr such a wonderful place!

Art notes:

I let Hilda be in her underdress to signal how vulnerable and raw she is feeling here. This is her, alone in her room, resenting resenting HATING despairing

Her dress is white. Despite everything all she ever wanted was to save her country no matter the cost. Even if it meant dooming another. A twisted pure-hearted maiden indeed.

One of my favorite loz headcanons is that Hilda specifically dressed the way she does in albw to closely resemble Zelda, tugging on Link's sense of familiarity to make it easier to manipulate him. Get you a woman that goes the extra mile!!!

I actually wanted to make an background on Zelda's side of the mirror, but then it started to look too much like a zoom meeting so black void it is. (Backgrounds are hard anyways)

I am still sad that we did not get to fight Hilda.

okay. how do I put this. if you approach interactions with strangers as if the vast majority of them are unbearable losers who aren't worth your time, you will find yourself not liking most of the people you meet because you'll be looking for any excuse to write them off as unbearable losers. I know this is hard to hear but sometimes the problem is you.
