I think there’s a lot of potential for angst with pre-relationship pinecest.

Like, as impulsive as Mabel can be, I don’t think she’d be the one to confess. She loves her brother a lot, and she would hate to do anything that hurts him or makes him uncomfortable, so I imagine she’d try to deny it in her mind and distract herself. I picture her dating other guys just to get those thoughts out of her mind (but she can’t help but picture Dipper whenever she kisses them).

As for Dipper, I mean, he’s already predisposed to anxiety. He’d agonize over being gross and a horrible person for thinking of his sister like that. But, he also has a habit of blurting things out in high stress situations. I imagine he would confess accidentally in a heated argument, and then immediately regret it.

Of course, Mabel would be thrilled. They both feel the same way! There’s no need to worry anymore! She doesn’t tend to worry about how people see her, so she wouldn’t really think about others reactions. Dipper though, he would definitely be hesitant. He wouldn’t want anyone to find out, and he wouldn’t want to accidentally mess up their relationship. Mabel would have to convince him to do things like kissing and going on dates (secretly).

There’s plenty of real cases of people getting severe dysphoria of their trans disability to the point of wanting to do surgery’s and transition into the disability they feel they have, Why is that not valid? Why is that seen as disrespectful to disabled people? Us disabled people know a lot about how u can’t control Why u are the way u are so why are trans disabled people any less valid? They can’t control the way they feel.

Trans disabled people please let me know more about ur experiences and identify, I want to be more educated on this because it just doesn’t make sense how it’s any different from having a “real” disability.

If you read a story that has dark topics like incest/rape/whatever else, and you draw the conclusion that it makes it okay irl, then congratulations, you are not normal! There is something wrong with you!

A normal, regulated adult human being is 100% able to tell the difference and understand complexity (no matter how the story is written, by the way). You are simply dysregulated and have the nerve to project your problems onto everyone and try to pretend like your immaturity and inability to understand anything beyond two-dimensional, 'safe' fiction is the status quo.

A story wherein the character(s) take joy in their dark topics, or where it isn't explicitly called out as bad, doesn't make the statement that it's okay irl, either by the way.

Are we really that fucking stupid as a species now that we need the big 'JUST SO YOU KNOW THIS IS NOT OKAY IRL DON'T DO THIS THIS IS BAD BAD BAD' sign on every piece of fiction and media that presents even just an OUNCE of challenging content? This doesn't mean that you have to like dark fiction.
