A series of Death Note characters dressed up I’m Sanrio themed pyjamas.

On my insta I decided to run a 1v1 vote to pick the best out of the 7 character designs. I plan to make a fully illustration (or maybe a card or sticker) with whichever character wins.

Rigging that vote if encouraged, if you’re interested I have the same username on that.

I love you characters who try so hard to avoid becoming one specific thing that they end up becoming something arguably worse. I love you characters with backwards development. I love you characters whose ideals dissolve over time. I love you characters who start out bright-eyed and end their stories with several important pieces missing.

I need to catch up with Dr Stone but that won't stop me talking about it.

I think it's really interesting seeing how much the modern characters operate in a stone age environment. I get that they probably miss most of the perks of the modern world but i think It also made them realise how unhappy they were at that time. There's a certain loneliness that I can guarantee most of them had lived with for so long. Humans are built for community and living in the modern era is well lonely, you can have friends and family but from the snippets you see of their backstories its hard to imagine that most of them had people like that.

I like to think being in the stoneage again gave then that sense of community that's so hard to replicate in big cities that's sense of belonging no matter what you decide to pursue in life. Don't get me wrong it's hard manual labour but noone is ever alone there, they're all working towards a common goal, they're all a part of something bigger and they understand that. At the end if the day they're working towards bringing humanity back.
