jumping off a post i saw a bit, strange aeons should not be seen as “the face of the furby fandom” or anything. she’s not an influencer or creator, she just has a longfurby.

i think, and i know many others feel the same, that you should put your energy into supporting the actual independent artists who contribute their time, effort, and love into this community instead.

As i do %100 agree on this i don’t agree on establishing a hierarchy.This fandom is about everyone’s creativity not just a select few ideas.This kind of hierarchy is established in the furry fandom and it causes allot of discourse and for allot of people to not feel not good enough or invisible. We should praise new ideas and support everyone’s art and ideas! So there is no one face to this fandom but many faces new and old.

not trying to start an argument at all, but i think you misunderstood what i was saying a bit!

i am not suggesting any sort of hierarchy or anything of that sort. that would, in fact, cause a lot of unnecessary drama. i mean that people put all this effort into idolizing this person for.. thinking furbies are kinda ok? but i don’t see nearly the same amount of love and support for the artists and content creators who spend their own time adding to the community, y’know? commission posts go ignored, art gets ignored, but without fail, strange aeons is tagged in every furby post.

all i’m trying to say is- please support artists. they need it a lot more than a youtube star who doesn’t see or respond to the thousands of @ s
