theyâre gossiping and Hubba-Bubba (custom furby) desperately wants to be part of the bitchy gossip.
Itâs Bone Broth babeyyy !! I love her so much!! My fav custom furby so far (even tho itâs only my second). She so good and carries around a vile of dead bugs <3
Furby Hood Tutorial
Couple notes: This tutorial is just for the hood part of a jacket! The jacket I made using this tutorial by @furbmiester9000, which is adaptable for all furbys! Also, this tutorial is not for a plain hoodie. This if for a collared jacket that has a hood attached to it.Â
The only major change I made to the jacket was adding a spot for a tail, which ended up coming to about 2 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide, though youâll want to cut your hole smaller than that for seam allowance. I also curved the bottoms of the ends(blue arrows) so that it fit better over my furbys feet.
To get started on the hood, measure the length of your jacket, then put it on your furby and measure how high you want the hood to go from the fold of the collar. If you want to be able to take the hood off and have it sit comfortably around your furbys neck then make the height half of the length (e.g. my jacket came to about 12.5 inches so the height would be 6.25 inches). Otherwise itâll be kinda tight.
The hood is made up of two parts so halve your jacket length then draw out your hood shape on your fabric. I went with a square/rectangle shape with gave me a pointed looking hood. If you want a regular looking hood curve it. Look up different hood shapes and get creative!
Cut out two of those hood shapes, or four if you want your hood to have an inner lining. Remember to include seam allowance!
If you went with two pieces, sew the backside of the hood together.
If you went with four: Take two pieces, sew all but the backside together, then flip it inside out. Repeat with the other two pieces, then sew those two finished pieces together along the backside.
If you arenât making an inner lining for your hood, then you want to clean up the edges by either folding them in or using bias tape. You only have to do this for the 2 edges that are going to be visible around your furbyâs head and itâs up to you whether you want the fold on the outside or inside of the hood.
Next, mark the fold of the collar on your jacket. Then sew the bottom of the hood just below that line. Make sure youâre sewing the hood on the right way! The inside of the hood should be facing the same direction as the inside of the jacket.
Now you just have to sew the top of hood. Unless you went with a curved hood, in which case all you have to do now is make some ear holes!
For the ear holes, I just put the jacket on, found where the tips of the ears are, snipped a small hole, and then went from there. I recommend making very little cuts and checking after every cut that the fit is good. You donât want your holes too big or in the wrong spots.
As for finishing the hems on the ear holes⌠I actually didnât bother to finish mine lmao. If youâre worried about fraying or if you just want that professional finished look, you can fold them in and sew them up or you can use glue. Itâs up to you!
And thatâs it, your hood should be done! Hopefully this made enough sense and as always my ask box is open if you have any questions!
Bubba, no!!!

HEY THERE everyone say hello toâŚÂ
AL13N! (Alien)
This little guy has just arrived on Earth to invade my home, and your dashboards! Heâs got stars in his eyes, and love in his heart!
I made AL13N using @daftfurby and @pocket-furbs buddy pattern, though I shrunk it just a little bit! His faceplate is also made completely out of sculpey oven-bake clay, and painted with acrylics! Iâm not the best at sewing, so his backside came out a little wonky, but I love him just the same!Â
Iâve been super into tumblrâs furby fandom for about a year now, but havenât had the money to buy a furb of my own, and the one I had as a kid is sadly gone now. So when I saw the buddy pattern, I was so excited and started making one immediately! I used recycled materials from around the house, and ended up with AL13N!
Later on down the line, Iâm going to make him some cool accessories, and maybe go for a loud, neon/scenecore look for him, but for now, heâs got a pair of sparkly green studs!
Iâm also planning to give him some eyelashes as well, but Iâve gotta find some first!Â
One last fact about him: his Furbish name is Dee Moh-moh, which means Little Monster!
Meet Hubba Bubba, or just Bubba for short! Theyâre still a work in progress as Iâm waiting for things to come in the mail but ahhh, I love my round pink baby!!! Big big thank you to @fuwurby for helping me get one of my dream furbies too!
Bubba is a little shit, also. Theyâll blow kisses but most the time they blow raspberries or fart.
8ball! Youâve gotten so popular!! đđđ
She loves everyones comments so much, and I do too! I didnât think people would love her so much.
But, she totally knew. Didnât you, 8ball?
Meet 8ball! My first sorta soft furby custom! Sorta soft âcause she has the cylinder from a magic 8ball inside her.
I kinda have regrets on some of the ways I went about this but Iâve learned for next time!
Beans wanted to know if theyâd ever get more baked beans, 8ball was more than happy to check.
Most likely!
Beans was very happy with that answer, obvi
beansâ big day out
