Jealous jealous jealous girl (if I canât have your baby then no one else in this world can.)
Megumi Fushiguro x fem!reader - <3
Saying you were possessive was an understatement, everyone knew Megumi was yours. From the matching Instagram bios to wearing his clothes, and to just bluntly spewing your affection whenever you can. People knew.
You were obsessively in love with your boyfriend, and he didnât mind it one bit⌠until it gets to be to much, which leads you to where you are right now.
Megumi had warned you to start learning to control your jealousy and the anger the feuds with it or else you guys would have to break up.
âWhat are you saying?â Your voice was choked up tears threading to spill from your eyes. âIâm not saying Iâm telling you that if you donât learn how to control your jealousy, I donât think we can be together,â
âAre you seeing another girl? Is that what it is?!â You yelled tears spilling from your eyes, Megumi looked at you and sighed âThatâs exactly what Iâm talking about!â He yelled before continuing âyour so caught up in jealousy to the point your actually mean to girls who donât deserve it, itâs affecting both of us and not in a good way.â He took a breath watching the tears fall from your eyes.
âIâm not saying that I want to break up, [name] Iâm saying that you need to learn how to control your control issues. Please Iâm not trying to hurt you baby I just canât do this anymore if you keep acting like this.â
You sighed and nodded, âyour right Megumi, Iâm sorry. I donât know why I get so jealous but I promise Iâll work on it and control it. Just please donât break up with me.â
He kissed you while his hands roamed from the curve of your waist to your spine.
This promise was fucking stupid. I mean how could you not be jealous when right now all your feeling is anger but forced to put on a smile through your grimace.
The mission had just ended, during it you helped Megumi save a girl before going back to do your own thing. So now when you walk up to your boyfriend slowly from a distance and see that blonde angel winged bitch hugging him tightly, it made you blood boil. But you push it away reminding yourself sheâs probably just grateful sheâs not dead.
UntilâŚ
âIn hopes of being worthy to stand by your side⌠I help people, itâs all in fate please marry meâ
What. The. Fuck.
âHeâs not interested sorry.â You walked up quickly grabbing your boyfriendâs bicep. âI have to marry you Megumi.â Completely ignoring you Hana said her voice as soft as an angel.
âLike I said, heâs not interested. Heâs my boyfriend.â You huffed putting on a fake smile trying to remain as polite as possible. âBut this is fate, not a flingâ
Are you fucking serious. Okay this bitch was getting it.
Anger burned straight into you and Megumi could tell by how hard you were fake smiling and gripping his bicep like he would disappear. âPlease Megumi, marry me.â
Megumi could tell you were about to blow, he spoke up but was interrupted by you. âListen uhhâ âHanaâ she replied. âYeah Hana, sweetie. Me and Megumi have been together for almost a year now, Iâd say weâre very serious so the only girl heâll ever marry is me and I say that with the most respect that I can.â
You took a big breath releasing the pent up air. âBut I love him-â âyou donât know him, no one knows him like me because I love him and he loves me not you-Iâm sorry that was mean I just heâs mine, okay?â
âBut itâs our fate Megumi, please?â Hana said her tone soft. âLook Hana, thereâs only one girl for me and Iâve already got her and will have her for eternity. Anyways need to go. It was nice to meet you.â Megumi said grabbing you by the waist as you walk off. Relief flushed through you.
When you got back to the house you feel flat on the bed.
Megumi smiled and plopped down next to you, laying down and pulling you onto him planting a kiss on the top of your head. âMâproud of youâ You smiled and put your chin on his chest. âReally?â âReally.â
âI love you gumi.â âI love you more.â He replied in his regular deep grumpy tone. Megumi sat up for you to straddle his hips and stare at his beautiful eyes.
He gave you a kiss melting you guys together before pulling away and gently pushing you off.
He walked out of the room then came back in, your feet dangling off the bed while twirling your hair. He got on one knee. âI guess I do love you a lot, and I only see you in my future. will you marry meâ
Your eyes weld into tears and you sprung onto him tackling him onto the ground kissing his cheek. âYES YES YES YES YES I LOVE YOU SO MUCH YESâ he groaned then smiled as you relaxed against him allowing him to slip the ring on your finger. You kissed his cheek.
âThank you Megumi.â âAnytimeâ ânow as a thank you Iâm gonna give you the best head of your life,â you smiled and kissed him hard.
Managing an actor wasnât supposed to feel like this. You could handle the calls, the reporters, the 3 a.m. emergencies, all of it.
But the second Megumi walked in, calm and quiet like he owned every room he stepped into, your pulse always forgot how to behave.
Your heels clicked against the marble floor, as you walked in, the cool crisp air of fall scents as you walked into your office.
âGood afternoon Mr Fushiguro.â You smiled, setting your notes on the desk silently praying he woudlnt notice the crease in your skirt.
âAfternoon.â He replied with his regular deep tone and soft slight smile that makes you weak in the knees.
âHowâs your day been?â He shrugged in reply then spoke up again, âyou know, the usual.â
You nodded, âwould you like coffee or something? I can go get you someâ your voice was soft and sweet.
He shook his head. âIm good, sweetheart.â He patted the seat next to him to have you sit. You nodded again, settling in beside him, pretending to focus on the agenda while your heart thudded far too loud for the silence in the room.
âWhatâs the agenda for later today?â Your fingers brushed his as you passed the notes a small, stupid spark that had no right to make your stomach twist like that.
âwe have a meeting any minute now with manami and her manger-â
He cut you off with a kiss to your lips. Melting into eachother before slowly pulling away. âWhat? I canât go through a full meeting without atleast kissing my finacè before.â You blushed and looked down at your hands admiring the pretty little diamond.
You were still catching your breath from the kiss when a knock echoed from the door.
âMegumi? Manami and her manger are ready to meet with you.â
He groaned then put his hand on your thigh, âsend them in.â
Manami breezed in, all perfume and bright laughter and if she noticed your flushed cheeks, she didnât mention it.
âOh, hi,â she said sweetly. âDidnât realize his manager was still in here.â
You forced a polite smile, but her tone made your stomach twist. You knew how the tabloids wrote about her and Megumi. And you hated how believable it all sounded.
No one got under your skin like Manami did. Maybe it was the way she laughed a little too loudly at Megumiâs jokes, or maybe it was because the internet had already decided they were perfect together.
You couldnât scroll through TikTok without seeing edits of them side by side clips from press events, interviews, all stitched together with romantic music like a knife in your chest.
Twitter wasnât any better. Fans called her âhis real match,â and youâd swear some of them lived just to remind you that you were never the one in the spotlight just the girl behind the curtain, holding the clipboard.
You hated how much it still stung, even when the diamond on your finger sparkled against the light. Youâre only as good as a secrete.
âSo,â Manami started, sliding into the seat across from him, legs crossed like she was posing for a magazine. âReady to talk about the new campaign?â
Megumi nodded, his tone smooth, detached but his hand brushed against yours under the desk, grounding you.
âOf course,â he said. âLetâs get started.â
You kept your eyes on the papers in front of you, pretending to take notes while Manami laughed at something he said. That sound made your chest ache.
You reminded yourself that this was just work. That he chose you. That the world didnât need to know not yet.
Still, you couldnât help but wonder if she could feel it too that strange electricity between them the world loved to romanticize.
Of course Manami always looked stunning, her hair perfectly in place, the scent of her perfume soft but demanding attention. She leaned across the table, her hand brushing his arm as she passed him a folder she couldâve easily just slid over. âYouâve been so hard to catch lately,â she purred, nails grazing his sleeve. âI was starting to think fame made you forget your favorite costar.â
Megumi gave a small, polite smile that unreadable one you hated because it looked so close to fond. âBeen busy,â he said simply.
âMmm, too busy for me?â Her voice dropped an octave, playful, as she tilted her head. âGuess Iâll have to schedule you myself next time.â
Your stomach twisted. You kept your eyes on your notes, pretending to write, pretending you didnât see her hand stay on his forearm for a second too long.
âIâm sure his manager has him fully booked,â Manami added sweetly, eyes flicking toward you with a smile that didnât reach them.
âSomething like that,â Megumi murmured, but this time his gaze shifted subtle, protective glancing at you just long enough for your pulse to trip.
âYou look tired, Megumi,â she said, leaning forward again, voice softer now, more intimate. âYou need someone to take care of you.â Her manicured finger traced the line of his wrist before she pulled back, pretending it was all harmless.
âItâs a good thing I have a manger then.â He replied his hand under the table gently caressing your tense thigh.
The meeting sucked it was long and the whole time Manami just flirted with your soon to be husband. By the time you guys arrived home your feet were so sore from how cramped theyâd been in those pesky heels.
Megumi wouldnât dare touch you until you were both inside his mansion, sure his house was very secured and secluded but still you never knew how crazy paparazzi could be.
The minute you guys got inside he pressed and kiss to your lips you whined a little out of exhaustion he pulled away and tucked your hair behind your ears. âMmm you okay?â He sounded concerned. âFine.â In reality you were not fine, not fine with any of this. âMy feet are just sore and Iâm probably gonna start my period.â
He nodded and picked you up throwing you over his shoulders.
You giggled as he carried you up the marble steps into your bedroom throwing you on the bed, he took off your heels and kiss you softly, no matter how jealous you were, Megumi was yours and only yours.
The room was quiet except for the sound of labored breathing. The sheets were tangled halfway to the floor, the air heavy and warm. You and Megumi lay side by side on his bed, flat on your backs, staring blankly at the ceiling like it might explain how youâd survived three rounds.
Your chest rose and fell in rhythm with his. Neither of you spoke. Neither of you had the energy. His hair was a mess, plastered to his forehead with sweat, and your arm brushed his with every shallow inhale.
Finally, you whispered, âWeâre insane.â
Megumi just gave the faintest grunt of agreement, eyes half lidded. That was all you were getting out of him for now. His silence wasnât cold though. You knew him well enough by now to read the quiet as comfort. He was content. You were content.
And thenâŚ
The door slammed open.
âMegumi!â Gojoâs sing song voice cut through the air, obnoxiously loud, like nails on glass. âYouâre not answering my texts, IâŚâ
He froze in the doorway and Megumi pulled the sheets higher up on your side to cover you.
His eyes flicked from you, sprawled out under sheets, to Megumi, still shirtless, hair messy, a thin sheen of sweat catching the light. The sight of two very guilty looking college students lying side by side in a room that smelled⌠less than innocent.
Gojoâs jaw dropped. âOh. My. God.â
Your entire body stiffened. Megumi didnât move, didnât even flinch. He just blinked at the ceiling, stone-faced, as if ignoring Gojo would make him disappear.
âDonât. Say. Anything.â Megumiâs voice came out low and sharp, the first words heâd bothered to speak in ten minutes.
Gojo, of course, grinned like Christmas had come early. âSay anything? Oh no, no, no. I would never.â He leaned casually against the doorframe, eyes twinkling behind his blindfold. âBut wow, you look like you wrestled a curse and lost. Twice.â
Your face burned as you dragged the blanket higher over your body. âGojo, get out.â
âRelax, sweetheart,â he said, wagging his finger playfully. âIâm just impressed. My little Megumi all grown up. Who knew he had it in him?â
Megumi turned his head just enough to glare at him, voice flat. âLeave. Now.â
Gojo smirked, clearly delighted to have found the single most humiliating situation possible. âFine, fine. Donât get all prickly. Iâll just⌠file this away for later.â He gave a dramatic wink and strolled out, shutting the door behind him.
The silence returned. Heavy. Embarrassed.
You buried your face in your hands. âHeâs never letting us live this down.â
Megumi sighed, rolled onto his side, and pulled the blanket over both of you. âThen we just wonât let him bring it up.â
ââŚThatâs not how Gojo works.â
Megumiâs arm slipped around your waist, tugging you into his chest with the same quiet stubbornness he showed in everything else. His voice was a low rumble, already fading back into exhaustion.
Overprotective!bf!Megumi x fem!reader âď¸âđĽ. (Fluffy and suggestive but no real smut)
The last thing you remember about your previous mission with Megumi was fighting with him about going and then waking up in a hospital bed connected to a bunch of wires looking over to see a angry-concerned Megumi looking at the floor. You told him it wasnât his fault but he just shook his head angrily and got up slamming the door on his way out.
You didnât hold it against him though, youâre aware of how overly worried he gets when it comes to you.
How ever this time itâs really getting on your nerves. âMegumi drop it itâs gonna be fine!â âYou almost died.â âKeyword almost!â He sighed and put his hand on his head âIâm not fighting with you right now. Youâre not going [name] and thatâs finale.â He stormed off into the kitchen.
âBaby please, Iâll be okay I promiseâ you begged while following after him like a lost puppy, giving him your best pleading eyes. âNo.â Just as he turned around to go back to the living room you stood in front of him blocking him.
âCmon gumiâŚâ You used your best to make your eyes for like as your fingers gracefully traced his strong arms.
âWhatever youâre trying to do, stop. Itâs not gonna work.â He sated in his causal grumpy tone gently putting his hand on your waist to push you out of the way so he could grab his shoes and go.
âIâm going-â âyouâre not.â âAnd how are you gonna stop me?â You crossed your arms and he sighed.
You smiled at his defeat. Just then he walked over to you and put a kiss on your forehead then to your lips, so sensually. Megumi was a really good kisser, you leaned into it more and even let out a little moan as his tongue entered your mouth.
Feeling into it his hand on your waist pushing you against the fridge tracing the curve of your lower back and accepting your noises of pleasure. Then he reached into his back pocked and all you heard was a click and felt a tightness on your wrists connecting you to the fridge.
Fucking handcuffs.
âAre you serious?!â You whined at the pain when you attempted to tug. He put his hand on your cheek tracing the edge. âI canât risk you getting hurt again, this is for your safety.â you were so mad you almost beat him.
âIâll be back soon, call me if you need anything.â And just like that the asshole left you handcuffed to the fridge, alone, and a little turned on.
At least three extremely boring hours passed.
It was getting dark and you weee starting to get a little concerned about your boyfriend. Just then you heard the front door open. Megumi walked to you and smiled he only had a few scratches. He crouched on the ground to where you were sitting and tucked your hair behind your ear. âMmm now thatâs my good girlâ he praised.
As much as you love praise you were also still mad so you only huffed and looked away in return. âCmon, donât be mad at me. Look atleast my girl is still in one piece,â he pleaded. His other hand racing your thigh a little.
âI donât wanna talk to you right now.â You replied trying to stay mad at him. He uncuffed you âand you donât have to, how about we go into my room and you take it out on me in bed.â He offered and made you smile as he picked you up bridal style and carried you all the way to his room.
Synopsis: Being the only woman in a group full of hot men has its perks. Managing one of the most famous rock bands in the world meant your days were chaos. Suguru geto was the reason you agreed to this job in the first place. The lead guitarist, the dark heart of the band. His deep voice wrapped the crowd around his finger, his stage presence intoxicating, his beauty the kind that made headlines daily. And while the world thought he belonged to no one, you knew the truth. You were his release. (SMUT, PIV, UNPROTECTED SEX!!)
The show had ended less than thirty minutes ago. The cheers of thousands still rang in your ears. The boys scattered to do their own thing, and you slipped into Suguruâs dressing room to check over the next tour details. You were used to him showing up late, surrounded by girls or still high on adrenaline. But tonight was different.
The door slammed open and there he was. Hair damp with sweat, strands sticking to his cheek, shirt clinging to the muscles of his chest, his eyes already locked on you.
You opened your mouth to greet him, but he reached you in three strides, hands grabbing your face, mouth crashing onto yours.
âMmmphâ you moaned into the kiss, shocked by his intensity.
His tongue pressed past your lips, taking and taking, his kiss messy, desperate, hungry. His hands slid down, one gripping your throat with just enough pressure to make your breath catch.
âYou taste so fucking good,â he growled against your lips before kissing you again, rougher this time.
Your fingers curled into his damp shirt, clinging as he tilted his head and deepened the kiss. His thumb pressed against your pulse as his other hand slipped down your side, cupping your waist like he owned it.
âBeen thinking about you the whole damn set,â he rasped, pulling back just long enough to spit into your mouth, his eyes dark as you swallowed it without hesitation. âGood girl. Knew you would take it for me.â
You whimpered, thighs pressing together.
He tugged at the buttons of your blouse, kissing down your neck as he popped each one open. His teeth grazed your collarbone, then bit just enough to make you gasp.
âAhhh! SuguruuuâŚ.â
âLove hearing you like this,â he muttered, pulling your bra straps down your shoulders, unhooking it with practiced ease. The cool air hit your bare chest just as his palms closed around your breasts, kneading, thumbs brushing your nipples until you arched into his touch.
âNGHhh! feels so good!â
âOf course it does. These pretty tits were made for me.â
He bent down, wrapping his lips around one nipple, sucking hard. Your head fell back, fingers tangling in his hair as his tongue flicked over the sensitive bud.
âmmm Suguru pleaseâŚâ
He smirked against your skin, pulling off with a wet pop before switching sides. He sucked, bit, licked until your chest was slick with his spit and your body was trembling.
By the time he stood again, your blouse and bra were already discarded on the floor. His hand closed around your wrists, pulling them behind your back, holding them easily in one of his large palms.
âDont move,â he warned, pressing you against the dresser.
The cold wood pressed into your chest, your nipples rubbing against it as you whined. He ground his hips against your ass, letting you feel how hard he was already.
âYou feel that,â he whispered, breath hot against your ear. âYoure the reason Iâm this hard. Been aching for you all fucking night.â
The sharp clink of his belt filled the room as he tugged it open. The sound made you shiver, your knees weak.
You gasped when he reached between your thighs, sliding your skirt up over your hips and cupping you through your panties.
âAlready wet,â he said with a low laugh. âYoure always ready for me.â
He pushed the fabric aside and slid two fingers through your folds, dragging them up until he found your clit. He rubbed it in slow circles, watching your body jerk against his grip.
âAhhh! ohhhâ
âYou like that, baby. Tell me how much.â
âSuguru! oh god it feels so good, dont stop!â
âLouder. I want everyone outside to hear how good I make you feel.â
âNGHhh! it feels so good, you make me feel so good!â
His fingers plunged into you without warning, two thick digits filling you, curling up to hit that gummy spot inside that made your vision blur.
âAhhh! Fuck-Suguru!â
âThatâs it. Take my fingers. Take them like the good girl you are.â
He fingered you hard, his palm grinding against your clit as his fingers pumped deep inside. Your thighs shook, your body twisting against his hold, but he pinned your wrists tighter behind your back and kept you bent over the dresser.
âCant move, can you. Youre mine like this.â
You sobbed, the wet sounds of his fingers filling you echoing with every thrust.
âGonna cum on my hand, sweetheart. Then I am gonna give you my cock until you forget your own name.â
Your body broke on his words, climax ripping through you as your cries filled the dressing room. Your cunt squeezed tight around his fingers, juices dripping down your thighs.
He pulled out slow, shoving his soaked fingers into your mouth. âClean them.â
You sucked them greedily, moaning around them until he pulled them free.
âGood girl,â he praised, tugging your ruined panties down your legs. He unzipped his pants, pulling himself free, and your eyes widened at the sight of him. Thick, heavy, flushed dark with arousal.
He rubbed his cock through your slick folds, the tip dragging over your swollen clit before sliding back down.
âYou ready to take me?â he asked, voice rough.
âYes-please, Suguru! need you insideâŚ.â
âBegging so pretty. Hold still for me.â
He shoved into you in one brutal thrust, burying himself to the hilt. You screamed his name, tears spilling down your cheeks as your cunt stretched around his length.
âFuck-youre so tight,â he groaned, grinding deeper. âAlways so perfect for me.â
He set a brutal pace, hips slamming against your ass, the sound of skin against skin filling the room. Each thrust drove him deep, hitting that spot inside that made you sob with pleasure.
âAHH-ohhh, god-Suguru!â He smiled. âLook at you arching for me. You love this cock dont you.â
âYes! Yes! fuck it feels so goodâ
He yanked your hair, pulling your head back so you were forced to arch deeper, his hand holding your chin as he fucked into you.
âLook at me when you cry for me,â he growled. His tongue dragged from your chin up your cheek, licking a tear as you sobbed. âMâsorry about that baby. Youre just too sweet when you break for me.â The dresser rocked with every thrust, your voice breaking into desperate cries as his cock split you open. He reached around, rubbing your clit hard as he pounded into you, and your body convulsed, another orgasm tearing through you.
âFuck-yes, cum on me thats my girl.â
He followed with a deep groan, burying himself inside you as he filled you with his release. You collapsed forward, shaking, sweat dripping down your skin. He eased out of you, guiding you gently to the couch. His sweatpants slid up your legs, your panties tugged back on, and he kissed your forehead as you sank into the cushions.
âYou did so good,â he whispered.
You lit a cigarette with trembling hands, taking a shaky drag. Suguru plucked it from your fingers, smirking as he took a puff himself.
âNot good for you,â he said, stealing another kiss as smoke curled between you. When he put it out and pulled you into his chest, you knew you were completely ruined for him.
Having a private relationship with Megumi includesâŚ
It was supposed to be simple. Just another normal hangout with your friends. Except it never was when Yuji and Nobara had decided that your love life was their personal project.
âOkay hear me out,â Yuji said one night, leaning across the table with that mischievous sparkle in his eyes. âWhat about that girl from training last week? She was laughing at all your jokes.â Nobara smirked and crossed her arms. âOr that guy from class three. Heâs hot, and he definitely kept staring at you.â
You groaned, dropping your head onto your folded arms. âWhy are you two like this? Canât I just exist without being shoved at people?â Megumi sat beside you, silent as always. He sipped his drink and didnât react, though his eyes flicked briefly toward you. No one noticed how his hand curled into a fist under the table.
âCome on,â Yuji urged, nudging your shoulder. âYouâre perfect, you should be with someone! Itâs tragic youâre single.â
Nobara slammed her hand down dramatically. âExactly. We canât allow this injustice. Youâre hot, funny, and smart. Someone has to appreciate that.â Megumi finally spoke, voice calm. âMaybe sheâll figure it out on her own. You donât need to force it.â
âMegumi,â Nobara groaned, âyouâre no help at all.â
You bit the inside of your cheek, trying not to laugh. If only they knew. If only they had a clue that the reason you werenât entertaining anyone else was because Megumi already had your heart.
Later that night, when the three of them had left your apartment, Megumi lingered. You leaned against the door, arms crossed, watching him with a small smirk. âYou were really quiet back there.â
He raised an eyebrow. âI usually am.â
âMm. But you were even quieter than usual.â You pushed off the door and stepped closer. âDidnât like them trying to set me up?â
His jaw tightened just barely. âItâs annoying.â
âAnnoying?â You tilted your head, eyes teasing. âOr are you jealous, Fushiguro?â His gaze dropped to your lips for a split second before flicking back to your eyes. âMaybe I am.â
That was all it took. You reached up, fingers brushing his shirt collar, and tugged him closer. His hand slid to your waist almost instantly, like he had been waiting for an excuse.
The kiss was slow at first, testing, then quickly turned hungry when you tugged him down to meet you fully. His lips pressed harder against yours, hand sliding up your back, holding you against him like he was afraid youâd disappear.
You let out a soft sound against his mouth, and he groaned low in his throat before deepening the kiss. His tongue brushed yours, heat sparking through every nerve, and the way he angled your chin made your knees weak.
When you finally pulled back for air, your lips were swollen, and he was breathing hard. His forehead rested against yours.
âYou drive me insane,â he muttered, voice low and rough. You grinned breathlessly. âGood. Thatâs the plan.â The door flew open mid kiss, and there he was, wide eyed and frozen in the doorway. For a beat, the three of you just stared at each other.
Then Yujiâs jaw dropped.
âOhhhhhhhhhh,â he said slowly, dragging it out like heâd just uncovered the greatest mystery of his life. âOHHHHHHHHH.â
âYuji!â you yelped, shoving Megumi back just slightly, your face burning.
Megumi pinched the bridge of his nose with the most exhausted sigh in human history. âYou couldnât knock first?â Yuji pointed between you both, grinning like an idiot. âYou two. Youâre⌠Oh my god. I knew something was up! Nobara owes me twenty bucks!â
âGet out,â Megumi said flatly, though his ears were bright red.
Yuji backed out, laughing all the way down the hall. âI cannot believe this. Finally! You guys are disgusting and I love it!â The door clicked shut again, and silence filled the room. You glanced at Megumi, biting your lip to stop from laughing. âWell⌠guess the secretâs out.â
He sighed, but his hand slid back to your waist. âCouldâve been worse.â
You tilted your head. âHow?â
âCouldâve been Nobara.â
You burst out laughing and kissed him again, and this time he kissed you back harder, like the interruption had only made him hungrier.
Lacy, oh lacy⌠Geto x non-sorcerer!reader - angsty/fluff
You had known Suguru Geto since you were seventeen. He had saved you from a curse, and you fell deeply in love with him ever since.
Back then he had been larger than life. Handsome, terrifying, untouchable. He carried himself like someone born to rule. He was Satoruâs best friend, the one everyone whispered about. Strong. Brilliant. Cruel when he wanted to be.
And you had been nothing compared to him.
You were not a sorcerer. You had no talent, no cursed energy, no family name worth anything. You were just a girl who could not look him in the eye without your pulse racing.
But fate arranged it. Families made choices for you both, and suddenly he was your fiancĂŠ. You had expected him to despise you, to cast you aside the way he sneered at every other non sorcerer.
Instead, he fell in love with you.
And you fell harder for him.
By nineteen you and Suguru were inseparable. By twenty one you were married. By twenty three you were carrying his child and raising the twins he had brought home like they were your own.
It should have been the kind of life you dreamed of.
But then there was Manami.
Suguruâs assistant. His angel. His shadow. Always at his side, always laughing at his words, always touching him as if she had some right. She was beautiful in a way that made your stomach twist. Sharp eyes, red lips, a body that made everyone stare when she walked into a room. And she knew it.
She also knew exactly how to make you feel small.
She had history with him. You knew it. Everyone knew it. She made sure you never forgot.
âDo you remember Osaka,â she purred once, leaning against his desk while you sat nearby. âWe could not even wait for the hotel. You pushed me right up against the elevator wall.â
You had stared at the floor, blood boiling, and Suguru had just frowned, muttering for her to get back to the point of her report. He did not stop her. He never really did.
Other times her attacks were aimed directly at you, subtle enough that Suguru brushed them off but sharp enough to slice through your chest.
âOh, you wore that dress again. It is⌠simple. I suppose it suits you.â
âYou are glowing. Pregnancy always makes women glow. Of course, it also makes them soft. Some more than others.â
âBe careful, Suguru. She is putting on weight fast. You used to tell me how much you liked my figure. Would be a shame if she lost yours.â
She always smiled when she said these things, her eyes glinting, as if daring you to snap.
And you never did. You just sat there and let the poison sink into your skin, until you could barely look at yourself in the mirror without hearing her voice.
You saw the softness in your face, the roundness in your arms, the curve of your stomach that seemed too much already. You saw someone plain, someone average. Standing next to her, you looked invisible.
And what made it worse was knowing Suguru had once kissed her, touched her, held her. He had once said sweet things to her. Maybe he still thought about it. Maybe he still wanted her.
You were not the first. You were not even the best. You were just the exception.
One afternoon the twins were playing in the garden while you sat on the steps. You were exhausted. The baby inside you pulled every ounce of energy out, and every day felt heavier.
Manami slid out through the back door, graceful as ever, balancing a tray of drinks. She set them down and crouched beside Mimiko, adjusting her hair with a smile.
âYou poor thing,â she said sweetly. âYour mommy is trying but she is so tired. Maybe Auntie Manami should take care of you. I think I would be better at it.â
You froze.
Nanako giggled, not understanding, and Manami turned to you with that same sugar smile.
âYou look pale. Maybe motherhood is too much for you. It is nothing to be ashamed of. Some women are simply not cut out for it. Suguru deserves the best though, dont you think.â
Your jaw clenched so hard it hurt. âBack off..â you snapped. Her brows lifted, all innocence. âI am only helping.â
You grabbed Mimikoâs hand and pulled her close, your stomach twisting with fury and shame. Manamiâs eyes lingered on you for a long moment, then flicked toward the house. Suguruâs silhouette passed through the window. She smirked like she knew she was winning.
The final straw came at one of Suguruâs meetings. The hall was crowded, his followers gathered in awe, and you sat in the back clutching your stomach.
Suguru spoke, commanding, magnetic. And beside him as always was Manami. Passing him papers, leaning in too close, whispering in his ear like she was the one who belonged there.
Your nails dug crescents into your palms.
After the meeting ended you stayed behind. You could not help yourself. You heard her voice drifting from the front of the room.
âYou are too soft on her,â Manami said. âShe is not fit for this. She is fragile, plain, not worthy of you. Everyone knows it.â
âEnough,â Suguruâs voice warned.
âI am being honest. You are wasting yourself on her. You deserve someone who understands you. Someone strong. Someone like me.â
You stumbled out before you could hear his reply, tears burning down your cheeks.
That night Suguru found you curled up in your bed, face buried in the pillow.
âWhat happened,â he asked, his voice soft but heavy with concern.
âNothing.â
âDont lie to me.â His hand brushed your hair back, forcing you to look at him.
You swallowed hard. âWhy do you let her say those things about me.â
His eyes sharpened. âWhat did she say.â
âShe tells me I am not pretty. That I am too soft. That I am not enough for you. And you never stop her. You just let her say it. Maybe she is right. Maybe you dont really love me. Maybe you are just stuck with me.â
âStop,â he said firmly, cupping your face in his hands. âDo not ever say that again.â
Tears slid down your cheeks. âBut she is everything I am not. She is beautiful, confident, she matches you. I am just⌠me.â
âYou are not just anything.â His voice was fierce now, eyes blazing. âYou are the only one who has ever changed me. Do you understand that. I spent my whole life hating, despising non sorcerers. And then you came along. You ruined all of it. You made me want something different. You made me want a life with you. With our children. With everything I thought I could never have.â
Your breath hitched, chest aching.
âShe makes me feel so small,â you whispered. âLike you will realize I am not enough.â
His thumb stroked your cheek. âShe is nothing. She is the past. You are my wife. You are my future. You are the love of my life. Do you hear me.â
You closed your eyes, leaning into his touch.
His forehead pressed against yours, his voice quieter now but no less intense. âYou are the only one I want. And if I have to spend the rest of my life proving it to you, I will.â
The first thing you remembered about the human world was color.
Not the gray haze of where you used to be, not the static dark of curses eating each other. Real color. Blue skies that stretched forever, green grass that tickled your ankles, sunlight that was so bright it made your eyes water.
Gojo had dragged you out of the shadows like it was nothing, holding your wrist and flashing his stupid grin.
âSee. Way better than rotting down there, right. Welcome to freedom.â
You couldnât even answer. Youâd just stared up at the sky like you were going to drown in it.
Since then, everything was new. Everything was loud.
Nobara forced you into cafes, shoving drinks in your hands just to laugh when you coughed at the taste. She shoved her phone at you and made you scroll through pictures and videos you didnât understand, rolling her eyes every time you asked too many questions.
Yuji was kinder. He taught you how to use the remote, how to make popcorn without setting it on fire, how to play games where you were supposed to press buttons so fast your hands cramped.
Gojo was the worst. He strutted you through crowded streets like a showpiece, introduced you to random strangers, and announced âthis is my rescue projectâ like you were a pet.
But Megumi⌠Megumi was different.
He wasnât loud. He wasnât smug. He didnât make a game out of you. He was calm. Careful. Steady.
He taught you the small things. How to turn on the washing machine. Why you couldnât put forks in the microwave. How to tie your shoes tighter so they wouldnât come undone.
And you clung to those moments. You didnât know why, but you wanted to be around him all the time. You wanted to press closer when he leaned near, you wanted to hear his voice just for you, you wanted⌠something.
Maybe that was why you kept sneaking into his room at night.
You liked his bed better. The blankets were heavier, the sheets smelled like pine and soap, and when you laid your head against his chest you could hear his heartbeat steady and calm.
âWhy do you keep coming here,â he asked one night. His voice was low, annoyed, but he didnât move away.
âBecause I like it,â you whispered. He sighed. But he let you stay.
The first time you realized it was at the grocery store.
Youâd gotten stuck in the aisle, staring at the shelves lined with different brands of bread. There were too many options. White, wheat, whole grain, rye, sourdough. Your chest had started to tighten, your hands curling into fists because you couldnât figure out what you were supposed to pick.
Then a quiet voice cut through.
âHey. Youâre fine.â
Megumi was beside you, holding a basket in one hand. His other hand reached up and plucked the bag of wheat bread youâd stared at the longest. He tossed it in the basket.
âThere. Easy.â
It wasnât a big deal to him, but you remembered the calm in his voice, the steadiness in his eyes. It was like he knew exactly when to step in without making you feel stupid.
Megumi was like that in everything.
He taught you how to cook pasta properly when you burned it the first three times.
âDonât throw it in before the water boils. Just wait. Patience.â
He showed you how to do laundry without shrinking everything.
âSeparate colors from whites. Itâs not that hard.â
When your shoelaces kept coming undone, he crouched down in the middle of the sidewalk and retied them, his fingers quick and practiced.
âDouble knot. Now they wonât come loose.â
He acted annoyed, like it was nothing, but you noticed the way he checked on you after. You noticed how he always walked on the outside of the sidewalk, how he slowed his steps when you lagged behind, how he nudged your shoulder gently when you got too quiet.
One afternoon you were walking back from class together. The street was busy, people rushing past in waves, and it made your chest tighten. Your steps faltered until you froze completely.
Megumi noticed immediately.
âWhatâs wrong.â
âI⌠I donât know. Thereâs too many people.â
He looked around, then back at you. Without another word, he reached out and grabbed your hand. His fingers threaded through yours firmly, his grip steady.
âStay close. Just focus on me.â
You did. You kept your eyes on the back of his head, on the way his shoulders squared against the crowd, on the way his hand never once loosened around yours. By the time you made it out of the busy street, your chest had loosened, your breath steady again.
Megumi glanced down at you. âBetter.â
You nodded, squeezing his hand. âYeah. Thank you.â
He looked away quickly, his ears pink. âItâs not a big deal.â But it was. It was everything.
The night you realized you loved him, it wasnât because of some huge moment.
It was because of something small.
You were curled up in his bed again, your body pressed against his. He was scrolling through his phone, his other arm wrapped around you lazily.
âMegumi,â you whispered.
âWhat.â
âWhy do you let me do this.â
He paused. âDo what.â
âStay here all the time. Bother you. Steal your bed.â
He sighed, setting his phone down and turning so his face was half-buried in the pillow.
âBecause youâre comfortable,â he said simply. âAnd⌠I donât mind.â
Your chest ached with how much those words meant. You pressed closer, your face hidden in his shirt.
âI think youâre my favorite person,â you admitted quietly.
There was a long silence. Then, almost too soft to hear, he said, âYouâre mine too.â
The dorm was too cramped for three people and too quiet for the amount of work piled on the desk.
Yuji sat at the far end, highlighter in hand, his brow furrowed as he mumbled over lines of text. âOkay⌠so Professor Geto said this theory connects back to the case study, right? But I swear it makes no sense.â
âBecause youâre reading it wrong,â Megumi muttered from beside you, his voice flat, pen tapping against his notebook.
Yuji groaned and buried his face in his book.
You tried to focus, tried to keep your eyes on the dense paragraphs about sorcery philosophy and Professor Getoâs endless theories, but your brain wasnât cooperating. Not with Megumi sitting this close.
His thigh brushed yours under the desk, just slightly. At first you thought it was an accident, but then it pressed again. Firm. Intentional.
Your head snapped toward him. He didnât look at you. His pen moved, calm as ever, eyes fixed on his notes.
But then you felt his hand. Sliding slow over your thigh, fingers curling lightly, inching higher.
âYâyeah,â you stammered, quickly ducking your head. Megumiâs lips twitched, almost a smirk, as his fingers slipped higher under the table.
You shifted in your seat, trying to keep your expression neutral, but the warmth of his hand against your inner thigh made it impossible. His fingers grazed you through your pants, just enough to send a shiver racing up your spine.
âMegs,â you whispered barely loud enough for him to hear.
âShh,â he murmured without looking at you. His fingers hooked the waistband of your pants and slid underneath, moving with agonizing patience.
Your pulse hammered as his fingers found you, already wet from nothing but anticipation. He dragged two fingers slowly through your folds, the subtle pressure making your thighs clamp around his hand. You had to bite your lip hard to stop the sound that almost slipped out.
Yuji sighed dramatically from across the desk. âMan, Getoâs exams are literally designed to kill us. Like, who even writes questions like this?â
Megumiâs fingers pressed deeper inside you, slow and steady, curling just right.
You gripped your pen tighter, knuckles white, forcing yourself to nod at Yujiâs words. âYeah⌠brutal.â you managed, your voice strained.
âAre you sure youâre okay?â Yuji asked suddenly frowning at you.
You froze, heat crawling up your neck.
âSheâs fine,â Megumi said smoothly, still not looking up. His hand moved faster under the desk, his fingers working inside you with practiced precision. âProbably just tired.â
Your thighs trembled, your teeth sinking into your lip to hold back a whimper. Megumiâs eyes flicked to yours just for a second, sharp and dark, like he was daring you to make a sound.
âFocus, idiot,â he added to Yuji.
Yuji groaned again and dropped his head back into his book.
Your body clenched around Megumiâs fingers, the sensation building until it was almost unbearable. You could feel the heat pooling, the edge getting closer, and the only thing keeping you from crying out was the sheer panic of Yuji sitting less than two feet away.
Megumi leaned closer, his breath brushing your ear as he whispered so low only you could hear.
âGood girl.â
The words undid you. You came hard around his fingers, your whole body shuddering as you buried your face in your sleeve to muffle the noise. Megumiâs hand held you steady, fingers pumping through your release until your thighs shook beneath the desk.
By the time he pulled his hand away, you were trembling, breath uneven, trying to look normal while Yuji flipped a page with a groan.
âThis examâs gonna kill me,â Yuji muttered.
Megumi leaned back in his chair, expression cool as ever, as he casually lifted his pen again. His hand brushed yours under the table, just barely sticky with you.
And you realized he was enjoying every second of watching you struggle to keep your composure.
