Instead of erasing mankind because of our sins, out of His mercy and love for us God established a way for us to become acceptable to Himself.

His word tells us the punishment for sin is death (separation from God). At the cross He took our punishment for our sins then, gave us His righteousness making us holy before God! Believing by faith that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins saves us from God’s judgment of sin on that appointed day.

It’s phenomenal living life having peace with God, knowing that you are personally reconciled to Him, experiencing His favor, guidance, provision, and protection. Having His strength through the bad times. Seeing this world through His eyes. Knowing that death is just the act of being transferred from this life to His presence, knowing that your eternal destination will be with Him! This is what He provides to all of us when we follow His directions, not live as though there are no directions!

The armor of God is a representation of the different aspects of Jesus and His work in the believer’s life. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God are all the things we are equipped with by our faith in Jesus to overcome the spiritual battles of our daily lives. God is a spirit so there is a invisible, spiritual world that exist and affects us all.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ seals the validity of all who have trusted Him for salvation! When combined with Him calming a storm with His voice, walking on water, healing the disabled, removing demons from the possessed, turning water to wine, feeding thousands from nothing, and raising the dead what more evidence does one need to be convinced of His claims? He is risen indeed!!!

Finally, returned from death appearing to many people, restored to His full deity vowing to come back to receive all His believers and change the world from its current state of affairs.

It is not necessary to understand everything God has revealed to us in the Bible. The one thing that must be understood and believed by faith is the fact that Jesus paid the penalty for your sins, thereby making your sins eternally forgiven by God.
