💛🧡Happy Thanksgiving!💛🧡 For the past decade, we’ve only had two “traditional” Thanksgiving dinners, which was last year with John’s family and my version of it with friends the year before. Before that, we were in England and going out to eat in Chinatown or Little Italy to celebrate! 10 years ago today, I walked into my Masters Enrolment and Induction. Afterwards, I went to get my student ID picture taken. One of the guys in front of me said something funny to his friend and I laughed to myself. He turned around and smiled at me. He turned out to be on my course. One year ago today, John and I got on a plane and officially moved to Orlando, FL. The year has gone by so quickly and it’s definitely been an adventure! We’ve celebrated the usual holidays, birthdays and anniversaries as well as finding jobs and a place to live. We’ve also been scared by the threat of hurricane season and now Coronavirus. My favourite days have been spent at Disney or simply walking around new neighbourhoods and admiring pretty houses or landscapes. We’ve managed trips back to England as well as up to Wisconsin even if our spring break plans had to be cancelled.
