When I was around 13, I had a lot of weird, uncomfortable interactions with kids my age, and some straight-up predatory experiences with late teens. And my most wholesome interaction was an online friendship with a ~30yo guy. He was super chill and somewhat childish, great with kids. We were friends for several years and spent most of that time playing video games with him and his godson (a kid my age). I never felt weird or awkward around him, the worst thing he'd do was harmlessly troll or rage-bait us. It was a good time

it's petty/boring/obvious, but i really dislike when they glaze yuta's growth and call it a 'glow-up'. or say that he became 'cool'. let's be real, he looks like a walking corpse, like someone who is just forcing himself to keep going and pushing through trauma. he needs to take a break and breathe. in a perfect world, he wouldn't have grown up like this. he should've become a boring, soft, 'un-cool' person. not someone killing people with wide, blank eyes. it honestly hurts to look at him post-shibuya
