The amount of effort and paperwork I have to submit just for an APPEAL for my insurance to cover testosterone (that isnt even on the deniable medications list for my insurance program and had previously been covered for all 4 years) is ridiculous.

They can send one letter denying me a medication I’ve been on for 4 years but I have to provide 6-8 different letters and proofs of documentation just for them to “think about it”.

The thesis I wrote in 2021 about transgender barriers to medical healthcare access is OBSOLETE; because it has progressed so far back. 5 years. That’s it.
