What does it take for your wol(oc) to break rules/laws?

A grave, personal injustice must be done to her, or several smaller but societal injustices against peaceful gardeners/subsistence living folk. If the state proves unsafe to exist in, she will stop caring about other laws and do as she pleases to meddle and fix it

Does your wol(oc) uphold any family traditions?

Champion of Eorzea, blessed by the Mothercrystal. You've bested tyrannical warlords, fearsome dragons, and god-like beings. You've liberated nations, aided in their restorations. But that's where they're wrong. You may be special, or chosen, or destined... but you don't feel that at all. All you feel is the pedestal you never asked to be put on. The perceived gap between you and them is staggering. They think you untouchable; so far removed from human you must be a god, or something greater. You aren't a person to them any more. You're a symbol. An idea. A concept. Intangible.

You are the Warrior of Light. And you will never be anything else.

yannow not to be a gridania defender or anything but it rubs me the wrong way when people are like "gridania is the only one of the arr city-states which never solved its very obvious social and organizational problems and thus it's the Evil Racist One that it's fine to hate" because like. you understand that that is fully a result of the plot giving literally nothing to gridania ever, right? you understand that gridania's internal politics are never ever given the attention that ul'dah and limsa get? you understand that huge portions of post-arr and post-heavensward and post-stormblood and post-shadowbringers are dedicated to limsa and ul'dah's social issues and npcs and their relationships to each other? you understand how kan-e-senna's second-in-command, who is literally gridania's equivalent of raubahn, does not have a fucking name?

you understand how the two scions you're introduced to in the gridania start are important for at most two expansions, one of which they barely appear in, before disappearing from the story forever aside from cameos? as opposed to the scions you meet in limsa and ul'dah, who remain important for the rest of the game up til today???

yeah, i would fucking love for the main story to start questioning gridania about its institutional racism and trying to fix it, because that would mean that the main story gave a single fuck about gridania. give us some duskwight and seeker main characters please. give us duskwight and seeker lore please. give us SOMETHING. you can't even learn how gridania's government works without reading side stories, which has led to this weird misconception that kan-e-senna is like, a fascist despot who used the calamity to consolidate power!!! Give Gridania ANYTHING!!!!!

Who would your wol(oc) tell their secrets to?

Happy Pride! Goodness I blinked and I missed it. Well when you're having a good time, the hours fly past. I meant to upload this at the beginning of Pride month. It's mostly a practice made from spite. Yet all art is worth sharing.

I hope everyone has had reason to celebrate this month. Finding community in person instead of through a screen is reason to celebrate for me. We fight for inclusion every day, fighting to protect each other from threats without and within. These moments of joy we find are what we fight for.

How does your wol(oc) show that they care about someone?

Brewing tea for someone is an act of care. I brew tea for strangers in need of healing and soldiers in need of pause. Solace is found in these warm mugs. If someone is especially meaningful to me. I'll brew them something picked from my garden, and I'll make it a custom blend!

I spent last night recreating one of my characters based off a screenshot I'd taken of her. Frustrating, really. But the satisfaction of latching up her design for good made it worth it.

With her model done, I only need to two outfits for her, and finish Fy'ra's outfits. I'm so close.

Au'ra April Day 28: Festival

I- "Ah- hold Ty'llera, Fy'ra." F- "Hm? Oh, they're pretty..." T- "r'You bene, big lad?" I- "Aye. ah. That's not a real Grenade is it?" T- "Menphina give me grace, are you serious?" I- "Well. Only for a moment." F- "Well I want one! I like how they glow."

The festivals of Doma were truly a sight. It filled Fy'ra with a sense of nostalgia and novelty all at once, and the artistry on display was truly impressive. Impressive enough to even fool her soft-minded cousin, Ilbey'rid. Luckily her sister Ty'llera came along, making the whole event a family affair. With their parents dead after Garlean raids into the Skatay Range, family was something to celebrate.

Au'ra April Day 4: Realm (Reborn)

F: "We made it! We finally made it to Eorzea! It looks just like home." Myr: "Told'ja we would! Just a hop skip and a jump across the water" .... I: "A little help please?" B-S: "I gotcha, 'Bey. Seems your cousin's gotten ahead of herself again."

It took five years to reach Eorzea from the remains of Dalmasca. Fy'ra, her cousin Ilbey'rid, Breaker-Surge and Myr'handa had been keeping to the coast and avoiding Garlean patrols to follow the words of the Goddess herself. Finally, their adventure could truly begin.

Au'ra April Day 22: Sins

"There is no one like You You gave Your life so I wouldn't have to Whеre there is onе, there's two It's me and You" Daniel Carter, Sins of the Father

Fy'ra and Ardbert both received their mounts through murder. Ardbert killed a cruel tradesman who was abusing his mount. Fy'ra killed a man who's only crime was being lost and desparate and in her grief, named her mount after him. I'd like to think Ardbert also regretted his killing, or remembered that man who owned Seto before him. There's a history of receiving a lifelong companion only after having bathed one's hands in another's blood shared across the Shards.
