You asked for someone to yap about their interest so now I shall tell you a bunch of random facts about sharks. Sharks actually don't have any bones as they have fully cartilage skeletons. This means they are lighter and more flexible and helps them swim. Sharks also have a type of sixth sense as they can detect tiny electromagnetic impulses using small sensors on their snouts and fins(usually) called ampulea of lorenzini. The biggest species of shark is the whale shark. Whale sharks are filter feeders and are one of three species of filter feeding sharks. The other two are basking sharks and mega mouth sharks. Filter feeders get their food by filtering plankton and small fish out of the seawater. A whale sharks mouth is big enough that a human could fit inside but their throat is too narrow to be able to swallow us. Alot of sharks have very unique hunting strategies. Spinner sharks hunt by darting up through the water while spinning and flinging their prey into the air to shock it before killing it. This causes spinner sharks to breach when hunting which means that they break the surface of the water. Thresher sharks hunt by using their fins to whip their prey and stun it to make it slower and easier to catch. Tiger sharks usually hunt by lurking below prey that is at the surface of the water such as turtles then going at it from below. Tiger sharks are also known for eating almost anything they can find. Hammerhead sharks are good at being able to see their prey because they have eyes on either side of their cephalofoil which allows them a field of vision which is almost a full 360°. They also use their cephalofoil as a weapon to hunt. Sharks can be temporarily paralyzed by being turned upside down or on their back. There was a pair of killer whales that used this to hunt and feed off great whites for a while as one of them would flip the shark and the other would kill the shark. These whales were recognizable as their fins flopped over slightly which could be due to a difference in nutritional intake as they feed on sharks unlike most other killer whales.

They are really cool!! Also cookie cutter sharks are really interesting too! They are bioluminescent so they glow in the dark. Also they don't even kill their prey they literally just take a bit then leave.

I know!! Sharks have some of the coolest adaptations. There's a species or shark that can "walk" on land so they can hunt in rock pools and move from pool to pool. Can't think of the name right now but I'll update you if I remember it.
