AU DETAILS:
the AU itself is called Team Galactic: The Return. that's the name. very cool!
in this same au there's a follow-up name for like. After the main events of The Return. that part of the au is called Post Return and if we ever get to that point I'm going to link the new account related to it here. EDIT: we've reached that point! it's @galactic-beyond !
there are other original characters involved in this whole thing, like a grunt named Wren, who used to be a team rocket grunt before they joined Galactic. Saturn may talk about em, or he may not.
Jupiter, Mars and Saturn are siblings.
also this man is very much transgender but he's like super embarrassed of it. he flip flops between "trans and proud" and "im Not a Real Man" due to dysphoria like a fucking loser (unfortunately I find that quite relatable).

Team Galactic has managed to launch the first ever Test Portal into the distortion world. the experiment turned out to be a sucess, and the portal was open for 43.6 seconds in total. or something like that.
Commander Mars is away in Johto, and Kanto, looking for Mew.

the story is done! here's a quick recap of what happened:
Saturn tried to make his new world, but failed. giratina injured him and his siblings, then allowed them to leave it's dimension and take Cyrus as well.
the League then got them all hospitalized, and afterwards, they faced trial and various consequences. they got their pokemon taken away, amongst other things. Team Galactic got disbanded, and isn't coming back anymore.
the rest of this story falls into Post Return, and that Saturn has a blog too! he's @galactic-beyond , and that part of the story is set in 2016, although I'm sure most of you know that.
this blog is going to go inactive, but it won't be deleted. keeping it for archival purposes and stuff!

there was an explosion in the Team Galactic Headquarters caused by a distortion-world portal malfunction. the ones severely injured, however, were the three Galactic Commanders who (barely managed to) have returned from the distortion world - Saturn, Mars and Jupiter.
they are now getting proper medical care. the Galactic HQ is no longer available to them. we're taking care of things.
