I had this dream earlier in the morning, where I was watching a YouTube video about Super Paper Mario.

Then, me, my Dad, and a random woman decided to go outside to check something. In the parking lot across the street from my house, there was a crack that revealed something underground: apparently O’Chunks was chained up to a wall. So, I said to him “Hi baby!” He responded back, but the only things I could make out were “hello” and “lass” as I turned away to look at the woman and my Dad.

Suddenly, I just woke up. That was it, I’m not kidding.

Update: So the hotel we wanted to go into told us there is a 72 hour waiting this weekend for some reason even though we made a reservation. So we have to wait for three days to go back in it (it's the cheapest one) so we are stranded outside again and none of the other hotels are cheap this weekend. I'm so devastated and tired what the hell do you mean we have to wait 72 hours to get back in.....

im exhausted and tired I just want to be in a bed it's always something going on I have such bad luck 😭

This is honestly why I more or less never understood people who made fun of “6 7”.

I watched Electric Dreams and I Wanna Talk about it

Caution: I highly recommend you watch Electric Dreams first, spoilers ahead

That movie was something, alright. It’s wasn’t terrible by all means, but it could use lots and lots of work.

The plot is alright if not predictable: guy gets a computer for his job, then he falls in love with his neighbor, oh no he broke the computer, oh shit the computer gained sentience, and then shenanigans ensue. It’s wacky but it’s a movie from 80s, what did I expect?

The characters are the weakest part of the movie, as they are a mix bag. Most of the characters were either boring or annoying, and don’t get me started on Moles… I mean Miles. I get it, we’re supposed to root for him but he’s just an asshole and caused all of the problems in that movie. The only characters I liked were Madeline and Edgar. He deserved better than to explode. (In my opinion, Madedgar should’ve been canon)

Enough complaining, another thing from Electric Dreams I really like was the music. It’s super amazing and definitely a must listen.

Also, I still find it funny how this movie manages to be relevant today from computers becoming a part of our everyday lives to (unfortunately) generative AI becoming a thing.

Electric Dreams is a 9.9/10 movie from me.

After a long, long while I got around to making part 2 of the OFF fan art redraw series.

I took a lot more creative liberties with this one as the original piece I’ve made with Dedan and Japhet didn’t have much going on, so I went with having the two interacting with each other.

this is your gentle reminder to stop fighting against your adhd and instead structure your life around it

buy a pack of chapsticks and put one in the pocket of all of your coats and jackets because you always forget to bring one and chapped lips is sensory hell

leave important things where you can see them. if they go in a box or a drawer you will forget they exist

put any appointments or deadlines in your phone calendar As Soon As you get them. set a reminder for a week before, a day before, an hour before, as many as you need as often as you need them.

when that little voice in your head says "i dont need to write that down, ill remember it" that is the devil talking!!! write it down anyway!!

plan for down time. have a few hours at the end of every day to just do fun stuff like engage in your hyperfixations. even if you didnt get all of your work done that day, have the rest anyway. you probably spent the whole day beating yourself up for not doing what you Should be doing, so you still need the break.

if you never eat vegetables because its too much effort to chop and cook them, get the frozen or canned shit. it doesnt go off for ages and you just have to microwave it. theres no point buying fresh vegetables if they just keep going off and being left to rot in the bottom of your fridge

if you struggle to decide what to have for dinner every day, take the decision out of it. choose a set of meals and eat those on rotation until you get sick of them, then choose some new ones and do it again.

its not stupid if it works! our brains literally have a chemical deficiency. you are allowed to accommodate yourself. go forth and stop making your life more difficult than it has to be because "this shouldn't be this hard". it is hard, so make it easier.

I especially felt the canned/frozen veggies. I enjoy cooking but don’t always have the motivation to do it. Because of this I started to buy jars of pre-minced garlic (which also helps my sensitivity to strong smells that are especially on my hands/fingers).

When I could I’d make larger batches of meals to eat another day.

It’s hard to get through a day sometimes so do what you can to lighten up the load

Two Fan Game Ideas I Had for Some Time

Like the title says, I wanted to share the details of two fan games I had for some time (one more recently than the other, but that's not the point).

The oldest of the fan game ideas is an OFF fan game called "REAL". Basically, the plot is that the Batter and a lot of the characters from OFF have found themselves in the real world, and shenanigans ensue. I also considered throwing in some original characters for the game; their names are Leshawn, Carlos, Maryam, and Elsie.

The other is called Backyard RPG/LARPing, it was something I made up as of last night, and Backyard Sports is a recent interest of mine.

The backstory for that idea was from listening to Sally Dobbs's theme and I thought, "Huh, this sounds like something out of an RPG game", the rest was history from there.

I'll admit, I'm super hesitant about Backyard RPG/LARPing as the Backyard Sports don't really work in an RPG format, but who knows?
