Sodapop is my second favorite Curtis brother..I feel he's neglected in the fandom a lot in favor of Darry and especially Pony

General + He and Johnny are in an eternal war because both of them believe they're the one who folded Dally into the gang

+ (Spoiler: It was Steve. Dally just couldn't resist his autistic rizz)

+ Y'all think DARRY is overbearing?? Soda is just subtle with how much he wants to know every detail of Pony's life

+ He hates gossip, and refuses to participate in any shit-talking sessions with anyone

+ He sneaks out to see Steve sometimes (and Sandy, but not anymore) and none of his brothers know about it

+ Pony has no idea how he does it when they're in the same damn bed

+ He definitely has ADHD and dyslexia, but he never gets diagnosed in canon

+ He can ramble like no tomorrow, but he also gets days where talking is really hard, and Steve tends to fill the silence. (he doesn't like being around his brothers on those days, because he doesn't want to make them worry)

Agere + He is almost everyone's favorite caregiver. He's just absolutely amazing at it (and he spoils all of them, which is a bonus)

+ On the other hand, he is almost everyone's least favorite little to care for, because he is chaos incarnate

+ No one can understand his mind and it scares them

+ His favorite caregiver is Darry, but Dally is up there (because Dally by far has the weakest back-bone when it comes to puppy eyes, besides Soda himself)

+ Steve is, of course, his favorite play mate. He likes being able to drag him around into trouble, just like old times!

+ His favorite activity is definitely coloring, even if he has to be stopped from drawing on himself and others

+ He sometimes does have emotional days, and it leaves Darry reeling a bit because he isn't used to this side of Soda

+ Steve mostly handles it when he gets like that, and they usually spend those days cuddling and watching cartoons

pony would hide with johnny under the snack table whenever the fireworks were going off to comfort him

steve would try to knock the firework box over and aim it at someone’s house but darry catches him every time

soda makes sure they buy the colored sparklers and draws dicks in the air with them

darry would constantly be making sure dally wasn’t trying to get pony to hold a lit firework

people who make too big a deal about 'problematic' themes in fiction, usually telling others off for consuming/depicting or 'condoning' things like rape, abuse, incest, and the like - (sometimes as mundane as bullying or physical violence), almost exclusively in the context of fanfic and shipping

what separates an anti from somebody who just doesnt like reading about/looking at things like this is that they make it everybodys problem like sending hostile messages or making callout posts instead of blocking or muting
