“Just-stay here?” Maya asked gulping air. “I had a nightmare.”
Somehow relieved now that he'd been told what he could do, he did not hesitate at all. "Sure, I can do that..." he answered, walking over to sit next to her, keeping a polite distance. "Does this happen often?" he asked, his voice soft.
Leslie moved closer at the blankets, pulled it and discovered a kitten. She gasped then squealed, “Kitty! it’s a kitten! Gale! Look at it! She’s so pretty. Isn’t she a beauty?” She slowly grabbed the cat and held it in her arms.
"But... I swear I felt something earlier...it was slimy..." he mumbled, looking up. "Why a kitten? Why the fuck does it always have to be cats?" he whispered in annoyance, looking away, clearly pissed.

“I’d like to see you do any better! I’ve got no bloody clue who the Weird Sisters are but I’m taking the other bit as a compliment,” Landon replied, already psyched. “I mean, your dance moves consist of moving your hips around and the macarena but when you’re drunk they surely become more enthusiastic.”
"No. Not a compliment, man. Didn't you just hear 'banshee'? I'm sure even you know that." He shook his head, grinning. "Hey! The macarena is great." He immediately defended. The next second, he was dancing. "Enthusiastic, huh? Like this?" He laughed in between trying (and failing miserably) to beatbox. "Let's go get that firewhiskey now, mate. I'm all pumped and shit."
“Oh, yeah? What do you mean? Elaborate.”
"It's more...technical...than I thought it would be?" he said. "I thought it would be more about cultures of different nations, but it turns out we just learn about a...political, economical, social sense of an international community." He said, narrowing his eyes slightly as he explained. "See even talking about it kind of bores me. I'm considering dropping the whole thing entirely."
“Eh, that’s okay, I’m the cuter one anyway.” Lena joked, “I’m studying Potions, what about you?”
Gale had to chuckle at that. "Oh, are you?" He grinned at her, amused. "Am I lucky I met you first?" He asked, joking back. "Potions? Wow. I definitely had some trouble on that one. You must be wicked good, then. To be majoring on it." Gale's eyes seemed to twinkle when he answered, "Dragons. I study dragons." It definitely gave away how much he liked them.
Since they had planned to leave the castle and maybe to also stay away over night Kelian had also packed up some things, and finally joined Gale again with a bag over her shoulders. “As ready as I can be,” she grinned and nodded. “Thankfully we had nothing from the punch either. Found already some passed out in their beds and it isn’t even midnight yet.” Walking closer she linked her arm with Caleb’s. “And now let us go onto our adventure!”
A roll of his eyes was Gale's general remark about the people who were already passed out because of the punch. "I did promise I'll keep myself awake," he told her. "I didn't really enjoy the party, if I'm honest," he admitted, biting the inside of his cheek. Glancing down at their linked arms, he grins and continues, "I just know this is going to be so much better than the ball." Turning to her, he said, "So, a destination. You first? Or me?"
“The stall over there,” he pointed and he took another bite. “Well I was exploring and got hungry so I tried and yea.”
Turning his head, his eyes looking over at the direction Logan pointed at, he said, "That one? That's probably a new stall then...I've never seen it around before." He said, and then the next second, he was shrugging. "But whatever, I'll go buy one of those." He said, before walking away, off to buy himself a sandwich. He was back in a few minutes or less, and he told Logan, "Well, apparently that stall roams around the campus." He takes a huge bite, and continues, "Probably why I've never seen it before. I must keep missing it or something..." He trails off, chewing.
Barking slightly the pup tried to reach up so it could sniff at Gale. “It’s okay…. and well I found a box near the trash bins. Can only imagine the poor thing… was a christmas gift. Not the right kind of gift though. Sadly…”
Gale's eyes softened down at the puppy when it made that adorable barking sound, it's snout reaching up. He looked up to Josephine, frowning, "The trash bins? He could have been thrown out, then? I can't imagine anyone would actually do that." He muttered the last part, as if he was talking to himself rather than to her.
“I think you mean “Oh it’s you!” Ava playfully corrected. “Okay, well see when the spell said “all the popcorn you can eat” I assumed it meant a sizeable portion, not all the popcorn I could eat. C’mon Gale, help a friend out,” she laughed.
"Nope, that is clearly not what I meant," he retorted, although his mood was getting better by the second. "All the popcorn you can eat...?" Gale repeated in a singsong voice, looking at her with raised eyebrows and theatrical wide eyes. "You know what? I was pissed when you woke me up, but since you say you have loads of popcorn, I might just forgive you easily," he joked, a grin starting to form on his face.

Having literally no idea what he's supposed to do, he stood frozen for a moment, staring at her. Slapping himself awake the next second, he ran towards her, and asked, "What is it? What's happening? How can I help?" he asked her desperately. He probably wasn't helping her at all with these questions, either. But he didn't know how to deal with a situation like this.
“Man this taste awesome!” he said in a muffled tone as he stuffed the sandwich in his mouth.
"Aww, mate... that looks like it tastes really good." He remarked. "Where'd you get it?"
She said nothing in reponse to his first comment, but still grinned and winked at Gale while turning around to leave the room. “Alright then I’ll see you again in half an hour. I am already looking forward to it really! This night is going to be fun!”
[TIMESKIP]
Gale left the party early, dragging Kelian along with him. The party was alright, but to him, the idea of their trip was much more exciting. He quickly changed into more comfortable clothes, and headed down to the Gryffindor common room, waiting for Kelian. As soon as she arrives, he grins, and says, "Are you ready?"
Leslie opened her eyes and looked at him. “Slimy?” She asked and then sat up and groaned. “Okay. Fine. Where is it?”
"I think it's there?" he looked sideways at her, pointing at the blankets in the couch, and walking slowly over to it. "It could be a human heart or something."

Landon is momentarily upset but then he’s over it. “It’ll be fun, we can do shots and I’ll show you yet again how well I sing when I’m drunk.”
"Oh shit, yeah! Drunk Landon!" he cheered, laughing loudly. "Drunk Landon is like one of them Weird Sisters, except if he somehow turned into a banshee." He exaggerated, the grin in his face showing he was just kidding. "And you'd see me dance. I dance better when I'm drunk, right?"
Ava shook his shoulders again. “Get up sleeping beauty! I’m bored and also I accidentally made a lot of popcorn. And I mean a lot of popcorn. Come eat it with me!”
"Oh, it's you." He groaned, rubbing his face awake. "Accidentally?" he asked, fully awake now. "How much popcorn did you make, Ava?"
