I love Fearne
Well, this moment has even more meaning now.
Beau was in love with Yasha when she said she was waiting for lightning. We did it fam. We found out. Thank you Laura Bailey.
Hello! Thank you for your beauyasha videos. They are perfection. I've watched the one from the finale with the flashbacks at least 10 times and have no intention of stopping. I'm obsessed. Thank you.
Ahh thank you for your kind words :) that means a lot.
I’ve never known anyone deeper than I know you…
So many things to be emotional about in CR episode 140, but for some reason I’m fixating on this one.
Most people take one look at Yasha, and the first thing they think is Barbarian. Fighter. Killer. Orphan Maker.
But when Mollymauk looked at Yasha… the very first word he remembered was love.
Love.
This genuinely has fucked me up. I am not ok.
You better believe Molly immediately said “love” when seeing Yasha again.
Keep pestering them until they make it happen!
IT IS WHAT WE WANT
Wait is it confirmed that there's only 1-2 episodes of campaign 2 left or is that a prediction?
Not confirmed. But on Twitter, they said their post-campaign wrap up episode is airing as the next episode of talks machina and to submit questions by the 31st of May, considering that’s in four days, i’d think it’s safe to assume they only have max two episodes of C2 left.
You can be a kind, decent person who loves and respects the cast and crew of critical role and simultaneously be disappointed that Caleb’s arc/the assembly arc from the beginning wasn’t explored in a satisfying way. Especially considering all of the build up and the fact it was the entire reason he joined the mighty nein to begin with.
You can be a kind, decent person who loves and respects the cast and crew of critical role and feel sad that we were never able to find out more than 20% of what happened in Yasha’s past and will likely only know through the pages of a comic. Leaving us with no reactions from Beau, or Jester. No vulnerable conversations or further connections made. No meeting of anyone from Yasha’s past.
Being a kind and respectful fan of the show who loves the cast, and feeling disappointed with how it’s ended is not mutually exclusive. 800 hours is a long time to invest in something, and if you have, it’s because you have an emotional connection with it. That’s what we want, and that’s what they want. It would be unfair, then, that we were never allowed to feel anything real about the show and express that accordingly. We aren’t positive robots and art/creativity on a platform is always seeking investment and connection on both sides.
Please don’t lump all of those who express disappointment in a healthy and normal way into an “entitled fan” box. Yes, some corners of the fandom can resort to extremes, but not everyone. Far from everyone.
Given that the campaign is winding down, I figured I'd just say that people are allowed to not like the way C2 is wrapping up. They're allowed to say that they would've preferred the story to go somewhere else and that they're disappointed at how things have ended.
CR is not "just a couple of friends playing dnd" anymore. It hasn't been for a long time. Each of the cast has upwards of 100,000 followers on social media, they sell dozens of merch items in 3 different stores, their kickstarter raised over 11 million dollars, and Amazon is bankrolling season 2 of their animated series. They're a company making a product and people are allowed to criticise said product without being dogpiled for it. Even if something out of line does come up and you have the opportunity to respond, CR doesn't need you to fight their battles.
Should people be tagging the cast or quote tweeting them with complaints about the narrative? No, absolutely not. But, tweeting about how you wished there could've been an assembly arc has never been and will never be harassment.
Finally, you liking how the story has turned out doesn't mean you get to treat those who didn't like shit. Your opinion is no more valid than theirs. Leave people alone.
“That’s why you’re my favourite” still makes me want to catapult myself into the sun.
I still can’t get over that Beau told Yasha that if their date only meant that it made Yasha comfortable to come and talk to her whenever she needs to that it’s enough for her...and yet she organised a date that was so far beyond what you’d expect from a first date. She organised this deeply in love shit. A tower in a pocket dimension featuring everything Yasha loves, revisiting their past, rare wine, a field of wildflowers, magical dogs, fireworks...
I still can’t get over how special Yasha would’ve felt, especially having already been in love with Beau. And how special Beau would’ve felt, knowing that Yasha had already fallen in love with her in Kamordah. Here they were completely bearing their hearts to one another and it meant safety and it meant love.
Just thinking about that time Yasha said she was afraid to sleep alone after what happened with Obann, and how Yasha told Beau in the letter that she makes her feel safe, and how they now sleep beside each other all the time.
Significant other.
