So... If there is something to be said about REZ, is that this isn't exactly a video game. It's an interactive audiovisual experience where by chance you can play in it. You can say it is disguised as a videogame. Now is it good?
For me, I really enjoyed. But more for the ride than for what the game actually is.
Too bad it is too short.

Who doesn't like a good pew pew game? Hmmmm?
Just Finished: Vanquish
Stunning, simply outstanding! This game got it all: A shooter with tons of bullets, stylish action, cheesy and cringy punchlines, and a guy who doesn't know how properly smoke a cigarrete. An over the top action game set on a distante future in a war about to start. The whole game happens in a massive city satellite with an impressive graphics scheme beautifully designed and frame locked no matter what happens on the screen. And believe me, a lot will happen!
Critically praised and loved by many, which leans me to aks: Where the f*** is the sequel to this?

Who needs ecstasy when you have REZ by your side?
P.S. Definitively NOT recommended to someone who suffers from epilepsy!
Just Finished: Final Fantasy X-2
So... Many, many mixed feelings here. FF X-2 has a great job system with the garment grids, that leads us to keep moving forward and want to explore. It's built pretty well, and introduces us a lot of peculiar move sets and combat options. The issue is that the story it's very unnecessary as it continues the plot two years after FF X. It kinda seems to lead us through an interesting path, however that is thrown down by the last third of the game. It's not catastrophic but I wish they had spend this time add the mechanics to a different game.
Still, pretty recommendable. Please give it a shot!

Some say this is a great hack'n'slash from Platinum, which I refute as you basically play this game with guns (duh!!)
But let me tell you something: What a hell of an hack'n'slash this game is!! =P
Just Finished: Duke Nukem II
Hell yeah! This is where we can finally start to see what Duke Nukem would be all about! The Machoman that doesn't give a bottle about anything but him! Beer'n'guns and kicking alien's asses that's what this game is all about! And that's a good way to go!!

So... It seems that after two years Yuna has become some sort of a K-Pop Star is that right? Spira is indeed a magical place I see
Just Finished: Bust-a-Move 2: Arcade Edition
So, finally back on to posting! And finished a very simple and cute game on the Playstation, also known as Puzzle Bubble, which doesn't need any introduction. This version has the regular arcade mode with different variant paths as for a story mode that adds some cute cut-scenes and moments. No big of a deal but as always never disappointing.

A manly paradise: Beer, Guns, and Balls of Steel!!
Just Finished: Dino Crisis 3
Imagine Jurassic Park, with a Stargate plot and setting, and a bunch of Die Hard punchlines... Cheesy as f*ck right? No, it' worse because the gameplay camera transitions are terrible a great to provide us a Game Over screen! Oh but the visuals are stunning, that's on the spot!

Just Finished: WRC 4
What the hell!? What trickery was this? How was this even possible to run on a PS2?
I'm absolutely stunned to see such mastery on a Rally game running in this system! The Dualshock 2 was clearly not the best option to play this games as it was taken to it's limits, and the different vibration inputs tell us that. Amazing physics on the terrain as we are almost able to feel all the small things, and not just the different types of tracks on the courses. The behavior and response of the car it reaches simulation level and there's not a single stage that I finished where my heart was completely pumped. Some of them I even sweat, and was not because of the heat.
This game is just perfection!

So Jurassic Park meets Stargate right? What could possibly go wrong over here?
Re-Finished: Mortal Kombat
It has been almost three decades since I last played and finished Mortal Kombat on the Super Nintendo. The digitized graphics and fluidity are still acceptable however it lacks of what most made it successful: Violence! The move set it's hilarious (2 tricks and 1 fatality per character), there's no blood, and everything seems damn blend. I realized now why I didn't played so much, specially while I had MK II over the house. But that's a story for another post
