i genuinely don't consider rhaenyra getting her period in that episode to be misogynist or that it shows her to become a hysterical woman because of it. i think it's just an acknowledgement of yet another situation rhaenyra finds herself in where she's trying to hold a traditionally masculine position and feels betrayed by the physical reminder that she wasn't born a man, similarly to the scene in season 1 where she goes into premature labor while all the men in her council are discussing plans for war without her. the reality of being someone who menstruates is that it can happen at inconvenient times when you're trying to do something important!

"alicent's reaction robs rhaenyra of her triumph" ohhh that red string of fate cant even let go in this moment of what should technically be victory for rhaenyra. she has just killed the main co conspirator behind her usurption (dare i say the instigator of it all) and yet it is a sour dealing because she has to sit on her throne and watch alicent realise what she has done
the short gap between vermax’s death and those arrows must have been the worst minute of jace’s life. he lost his revered symbol of legitimacy and had to imagine a life as a dragonless targaryen prince. his final, self-loathing thoughts must have been the most bastardphobic thinking ever conceived of in all of westerosi history
daemon asking mysaria "would that pain you" with regard to alicent being close to rhaenyra is hilarious. also the pissing match that has started between them djskskkakalala. mysaria hitting rhaenyra with "remember which of us has always been faithful" crying this is gona be great. rhaenyra the girls are competing for your attention (alicent is winning)
