Author notes: sorry this one took forever to come out ive been in a weird depression were i have no motivation at all to do anything but watch YouTube and movies. But Im finally back with another chapter. Also we are almost to 100 followers im so excited and very appreciative of everyone that has been liking my stories.
Y/n looked over the beach. The waves of the ocean crashing onto the sand. The air smelt of the salty ocean. It was a beautiful day out. Felix and Jeongin race each other to see who gets in the ocean first. Chan carrying all the things they need down. Minho was rubbing sunscreen on Hans' back. Seungmin and Changbin were playing a game of valley ball. “Come one lets go swim” Hyunjin walked up behind y/n. She turned her head to look at him. She was nervous. She has never been to the beach. “It's scary at first but I promise it's fun,” Hyunjin held out his hand. She was hesitant at first but grabbed his hand. He guided her down to the sand. She was a little hesitant at first to take her clothes off. Finally after a minute of calming down she took her clothes off. Her new bathing suit Felix got her was on. “That's cute,” Hyunjin smiled at her. Y/n face heated up. Letting out a small thank you. The two walked toward the water. The sand squished between her toes. This was everything she dreamed of. The waves hit her feet. Looking down she saw the water moved back toward the ocean.
Hyunjin swimmed out to Felix and Jeongin. Y/n just watched a little scared. She felt someone push a plastic floaty. Turning around, Chan was smiling at her. “Now you wont drown” she looked down at the ring around her waist. Stepping farther into the water she floated around. Felix swam over grabbing her hands. Her legs kicked around. Felix made sure the waves didn't take her away.
Her laugh made the others smile. They love seeing the joy in her. She was always a bubbly person but this was different. This was true happiness. Felix laughed with her. “Lunch!” Chan yelled from the beach. Felix swam back, bringing Y/n with him. Y/n shivered from the sudden wind. Jeongin brought over a towel for her. They made it to the group. Chan was handing out sandwiches. Y/n held out her hand. Chan placed a sandwich for her in her hand. She smiled while taking a bite.
“We should all play a game of valley ball. I've gotten really good” Han cheered out. “You good yeah i want to see that.” Hyunjin rolled his eyes. Han gasped and punched Hyunjin's arm. Jeongin picked up the valley ball. “I'm so down, let's go” Han smiled following Jeongin. Hyunjin slowly got up to join them. “You want to play?” Felix asked y/n. “No thank you but ill watch” she stood up to join the group. Standing on the sidelines she watched the group of boys play.
Very competitive the 8 men were. Han fell alot. Y/n would laugh after asking if he was okay. Out of the group he definitely isn't the most athletic. Chan though. He was really good. Fast and can jump high. Y/n eyes caught his back. The muscles would flex when he would hit the ball. She watched for a while until Han snapped her out of it. “this is unfair there being mean to me” he held onto y/n arm. She turned her head to look at him. “I'm sorry, want me to scold them for you,” he laughed. “No it's okay I should get back in though” he hurried back in.
Y/n smiled as he went back to playing. She was too busy watching him go back; she didn't see the ball coming towards her. As she turned her head back she saw a body coming towards hers. The collision made her fall onto the sandy ground. She groaned out. Opening her eyes everyone was looking down at her with concern. She could feel something moving on her chest. Soon two little boba-like eyes were staring at her. “I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention.” Hyunjin put two little paws on her cheeks. Changbin took Hyunjin off y/n so Chan could help her up. She dusted her legs to get off all the sand. Chan helped get the sand off her back. “It's okay, accidents happen.” She finally got a good look at Hyunjin.
He was a white ferret. She's always wanted to see a ferret up close. “Okay lets call it a day and head in for the night” Chan guided y/n to the house. Chan is going to have to scold the boys later. If they keep running into y/n bad things will happen. They can't let anyone else know about the curse. He is already stressing that JYP wants to meet her. “Go take a shower alright, I'm going to start dinner.” He lightly pushed y/n towards the bathroom. When he heard the door closed he turned around to see all 7 members standing there awkwardly. “You seriously need to start being more careful. If this happens in public we will be fucked.” Everyone dropped their heads. Chan sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I get it. They all have been accident, well except for Felix and Han.” He glared at the two boys. They stepped backwards trying to hide behind the others.
Chan loves that they can finally open up with someone that wasn't part of this group. But the issue is how JYP is going to take this. Yes he did agree she could keep her memory of them but that doesn't mean anything. He's not a mean person, just worried about the 8 boys. Chan knows y/n and if he can convince JYP that she is an amazing girl he wouldn't have to worry anymore.
He dismissed the boys. Watching them all go their separate ways. Shaking his head he walked to the kitchen. He's not upset that she's finding out who their animal form is. He's upset for how careless they have been. He can hear the others chatting in the living room. “Ooo y/n you only need to figure out three more of us” he could hear Felix's voice. “Need some help” , turning his head, Minho was standing next to him. He nodded his head, handing Minho a knife. The two sat in silence listening to the others talk. Changnin and Seungmin started to argue with each other. Chan sighed out. Minho laughed next to him.
Chan and Minho placed everything on the table calling the groups in. Everyone hurried in like they were starved. “I get to sit next to y/n” Han called out sitting down. Jeongin walked over, pushing him out of the chair. “Nice try” Jeongin sat down. Han whined. “Jeongin be nice,” Minho scolded. Jeongin just rolled his eyes. “As much as I want all of you to have fun tomorrow, JYP will be here” Chan announced to the group. Everyone but y/n groaned. “But we are on vacation,” Hyunjin whined. “I know but I have no control over this.” The room went silent. “He's coming to meet y/n isn't he” Jeongin voice held anger. “Yes,” Jeongin stood up, slamming his hands on the table. He wanted to yell. Argue even. Instead he walked out. Y/n almost went after him until she felt a hand on her shoulder. “Leave him. He'll be okay” Chan said. She almost didn't want to listen to him. She didn't want to make Chan upset though. Quietly she went back to eating. Poking around her food.
Y/n sat outside watching the stars above. It was a clear night so the stars were bright. The door behind opened. Turning her head, Chan walked out. He quietly sat next to her. “Jeongin has always been scolded for everything he did. He was always told he wasn't good. Jeongin was the only one open about this. Everyone got hated on. It wasn't really JYP himself but the others in this weird family group we all grew up in. We tried to tell JYP but he never did anything. So that is why Jeongin has so much hatred towards that man. We were just performing monkeys. We were different. Everyone finally decided to go their own ways. I'm the only one stuck. I did that so those boys could go be someone. The curse makes it hard.” Chan explained everything to y/n. She listened closely. He heart broke for them. She wanted to help set them free. “As long as we have this curse we are stuck with JYP.” She almost hugged Chan. She knew better though. The two sat in silence for a moment. “You can hug me if you like” she was shocked by his words. It was almost like he was reading her mind. She slowly wrapped her arms around his chest. Putting her head there. *puff* She was now hugging a big fluffy wolf. She smiled and cuddled close to him. He was massive, even bigger than her. The two just laid there in silence enjoying the nice cool air. She didn't want to let go, and he wasn't going to stop her.
