Esprit Fleur; it wasn’t a far drive in the gummi ship, but today people just decided to be jerks in the space between worlds. They all decided it’d be fun in their large Serpent and Diablo gummi ship models to try to completely crush her little Ahriman, and took direct aim at her. She dodged most of them, but when she took a hit to her right aero gummi she knew she was done for. Down down down, but she managed to gain control just as she was about to hit the ground. It was quite a  bumpy landing, but a safe one. When she climbed out of the cockpit she could have sworn she was actually in a coma of some sort or hallucinating from trauma. A piece of land no larger than Radiant Garden’s courtyard floated in the middle of nowhere with a large weird tower perched near one edge. Confused, and slightly on edge, Larxy proceeded to walk towards it, hoping whoever lived there could at least tell her where she was. Her left hand hovered over her sheathed katana just incase she came across any “unfriendly” company.

Castora was always so kind and gentle, except when she needed to be stern. Normally Larxy didn’t think too much about this, she was still trying to mentally accept the elf woman as her mother afterall, but today for a few reasons the thought echoed in her mind.

The shop district of Radiant Garden was usually pretty bustling with locals, but today she had witnessed a few boys with access to a gummi ship traveling from other worlds. The news wasnt startling to her as deep within a gummi garage bellow the surface she had her own little ahriman model hidden away, but it was the way that they reacted to her mother as she passed by. Castora did waht she usually did, offered potions and ethers for a modest price while giving those that desperately needed them free products, but the way that they eyed her made Larxy feel a bit....strange as she watched them from a distance. She knew what attraction looked like. She could tell they thought her mom who was actually over 200 years old but didn’t look a day over 30 was hot. But...in this case it wasn’t just attraction to her body. It was almost like they enjoyed her softness, her floating movements and round lipped smiles. They enjoyed her femininity, and it started to make Larxy- a tomboy to the bitter end- wonder if anyone would find her as pretty as her adoptive mother, or any super feminine girl for that matter.

There it was again;insecurity her old friend. As if in protest she crossed her arms in a huffing motion and leaned up against a wall with an angry look on her face.

“Whaah!”

Larxy jumped back a bit. She still wasn’t used to the seraphs coming and going inside and outside of her at will. She gasped a bit to catch her breath.

“Sorry Seira, I’m just…not used to that yet.” For a few moments she stared in silence, but eventually a question popped into her mind. “Seira, how many Shepard’s lifetimes have you lived through?”

          “Eheh, sorry, sorry!” She chuckled, waving one hand reassuringly before placing it on her shoulder. “I didn’t mean startle you, Larxy. You’re going to have to get used to that sooner or later.”

          Oh, gosh, this took a sharp turn. Seira pursed her lips together, drawing her hand back to place it in her lap. With a light hum as she closed her eyes, she spoke slowly. “There… have been many…” She began. “But none quite like you, dear. You’re the first one in quite a long time, in fact. Certainly makes me look like an old thing, mm?”

She listened intently, smirking at her last comment. “Well I wouldn’t really know that since most of you don’t talk much about your age.” She chuckled a little. “I’m kinda curious , as far as vessles go where do I rank?”

     Despite never being to Radiant Garden, the world brought a sense of nostalgia. Perhaps it was the retracing of steps he would take in his future, he wasn’t entirely sure. But the path was laid out in front of him and taking on the guise of an apprentice wasn’t a difficult task.  Unfortunately, in his eagerness… he hadn’t noticed the woman following him. 

     Xehanort felt a rush of excitement, seeing what he would create in the future. All this hard work, a head start on the information wouldn’t hurt, would it? Pulling a small notebook from his pockets, he began to write down what he saw, the rough diagrams of hearts on the walls… the shape and size of the cells. But it was the chamber at the end of the hall that drew his curiosity the most. In this hall, he knew what to expect - workings and experiments of the heart, but in the next chamber, it was a complete mystery. He lowered his pen, about to start walking again, when he caught the sound of footsteps behind him. He paused in mid stride, not bothering to look at the person behind him.

How? HOw had he noticed her?! She had taken the utmost caution. No matter. She wasn’t going to let him shake her. She needed to play it smart.

“Well when your friend decided to close the door behind me I didn’t really have a choice. Look if you just show me a way out of this place I won’t tell a soul. Heck I don’t even really understand what this place is anyways.”

“Aaaaaah, malevolence or not, I’m glad there’s at least one meadow without monsters literally everywhere.” The young Shepard lay in the tall grass starring at the sky. The others were “inside” at the moment, and truth be told she was starting to get a little lonely.

         “I must agree with you there, Larxy,” with a simple poof! of sorts, Seira left her vessel to appear outside next to her. She took a moment to sit down beside her and crane her neck to the sky, allowing a breeze to ruffle hr hair as it passed by. “While it is good to purify the hellions, it can be tedious having to fight them consistently. Breaks are very much appreciated.”

Larxy tended to avoid going beyond the gardens when she could, but a job was a job. She had heard of the mysterious apprentices that lived within the castle, and now one of the castle staff had asked her to trail them, or at least one of them. She picked the least observant one, silvery blue hair and seemingly way too absorbed in his work for his own good. Years of thieving and stealth aided in her mission. He certainly was acting suspiciously. She followed him into the castle study, and then a lab tucked behind it. The room was enormous, and she decided to climb down to the main floor and hide in the shadows. This had to be what the staff member was talking about. The apprentice took no notice of her and left closing the secret passageway behind him. Now what was she to do? she paced in circles hoping to find an answer, and instead discovered another secret door appearing when she stood in just the right spot. A long LONG winding stairway extended into dark depths the likes of which Larxy had never seen, but it was a much better option than just sitting there. She stepped cautiously yet swiftly and found herself in a hallway devoid of color save red in a few areas. Upon closer inspection, the many doors were locked tight, and bars extended from the top corner of a diamond shape on them to the bottom. “This has to be some sort of prison...” she thought, “question is, who would they need to lock up this tightly?”

Even though her home world was alive and well and there was no need for the Elf woman to summon forth her keyblade again, a sting of curiosity couldn’t help but hit her. She hoped it was not from any remnant of those dark delusions she had building in her mind for years and years, but nevertheless she found it once again materialising in her hand. It was both an old friend and a dastardly enemy. To think the blood of someone she once called her best friend was stained somewhere into this blade, yet this same wepon helped her conquer fears, travel to new worlds, meet countless alies and even the love of her life. Just thinking about it brought back memories of the days before the war. How peaceful they were. This was when the Foretellers-the young keybearers’ masters- were much more personal. At least one would stop by the square each evening, and since Castora belonged to the Anguis union she would often see Master Invi. But the one that most commonly appeared was Master Ava, so kind and caring. Why just thinking of her Castora could almost picture her in the very same room…….
