You've managed to blend in quite well with the others in the hospital.
The head nurse, Intern, Nurse, And the others still don't suspect anything about you, You just roam the place, Mopping the floors, Cleaning up the most recent anamoly's messes, It was great just being yourself out in the open.
It did feel good, Amazing even, No one knows a thing about you or your life, You can just hang around with co workers, But the guilt of them not knowing that you were exactly what they were trying to get rid of sat in your chest in mind, Weighing you down slowly everyday.
You were sure that someone knew.
The person whom you were closest to.
Secret agent, They stuck around you when you first joined.. You never knew why, But you felt their eyes piercing themselves into your back everytime you turned around.
But during that, Something had changed, And bloomed into something completely different, Fondness, Friendship, And maybe something more?

Secret agent sits silently in their office, Staring at the dark room, With only a buzzing yellow light overhead, Their gun sits at the table, Completely loaded, But how could they use it on you?
They slowly pick up the gun, Tracing every ridge on it, Deep in thought as they remember everything that made them suspect you, And eventually find out you were an anamoly.
The twitching, The weird, Almost unusual smile that reached up to your ears, The expression that would form on your face when another anamoly was tased or shot.
.. They knew you were an anamoly, So why couldn't they kill you? You're the reason why so many deaths had been happening, So why can't they do the right thing?
".. I can't do it." They take the gun with them, Not to shoot you, They've gotten too attached to you to do so.
They open the door to the bustling hospital, Patients ringing the bell continuously, The nurses treating the patients with gentle hand, The intern rushing to get papers done.
And there you were.
Cleaning up the floors, Acting completely normal, But they could see right through you, And you felt it, Your mopping got faster in speed as you tried to ignore their intense gaze on you.
You hear the gun cocking.
"This is it, Isn't it?" You thought, You stayed still in your spot because you had gotten so used to act like them, To the point you forgot most anamolies have an instinct to dodge and attack.
The gun fires loudly behind your ear, The sound ringing in your ears as a thud follows, Your eyes slowly look to the left.
It was just another anamoly, Thankfully, It began to run away, Cursing and grumbling about how it's never coming back into this hospital.
You look at Secret agent, Expecting them to shoot you too, But they didn't do anything except walking towards you slowly.
"... I won't do anything to you." They murmur, Towering above you slightly, Retreating from their gun.
"I know you won't, But.. How'd you even know?" You ask, Hands still trembling on the mop.
"I've seen my fair share of anamolies around here, I'd know if you were one, And you are." Secret agent whispers, Their hand wrapped around your wrist.
"You're not gonna do anything to me? You aren't gonna.. tell anyone?" You ask, The words coming out slowly, Afraid that if you spoke too loudly, It would make everything worse.
"No, No I'm not." Secret agent pulls you into a quick hug, Pulling away gently and smiling at you before retreating back to their office.
Your cheeks flush, Cleaning much better than you did before, The intern watches from the check-in window, Wondering why you seemed so giddy.
.. They'll never know, Right?

You stumble into Astro's room, Today had certainly been.. Something.
You got injured multiple times during a run, You made Cosmo run out of heals which caused Sprout to be mildly pissed at you, You almost died, Twice, And two of those times, Looey had saved your ass.
Even after the constant reassurances that it wasn't your fault, The humiliation burned in your chest like a fire that was getting out of control, Little by little.
The cold air of Astro's room washed over you fast, Helping with the heat that had spread to your neck and face, You limp over to him, Watching as his expression turned into concern.
"Y/N..? Starlight? Are you doing okay, My love?" Astro stands up from his bean bag slightly, Awaiting you as you get closer.
You don't respond, The shame had crawled up into your throat and it was choking you, You knew it wasn't THAT big of a deal.
But why did it still feel so horrible?
You fall down onto the cold floor, Placing your head into his lap, His arms escape his blanket and hold you gently, His hands lying on your head.
He lifts you up gently, His first pair of arms underneath your arms, And the second pair lifting your legs up slowly, Gently sitting you down on his lap.
You rest your head on his shoulder slowly.
"It's alright if you don't wanna talk right now, My star. But just now, I'm here if you want me to listen." Astro murmurs, Rubbing your back in small, grounding circles.
You don't realize that you've started crying till your hiccuping fills the room, You sob into his shoulder, It had been such a long day, You'd forgotten that you didn't need to stay strong all the time.
"Shh.. Everything's gonna be alright, Y/N, I'm here for you." He reassures, His touch slowly calming you down, The sound of your hiccuping dies down as you slowly fall asleep on his shoulder.
Astro still rubs your back, Still holding you— Despite you being asleep, He'll always be there for you.
