「Buzzer Beater」by Kagurazaka Soushi Lyrics + Translation
I’m surprised no one had translated this already, since the song’s been out for a while. This is actually my favorite X Lied song (sorry Ryota and Mamoru…)! Soushi is also my favorite Soara member and a fun fact is that he’s the only Tsukipro character where I actually add the extra “u” into the name. That’s because my friend’s dog’s name is also Soushi so it just looks more natural to me lol.
“Buzzer beater” is a term in basketball where someone tries to make a shot at the last minute, so that’s what this song alludes to. It mentions sports “plays” and the usual “never give up” stuff. The song’s lyrics substitute katakana for regular jp words in some places and that annoyed me, but I think I translated it alright. These lyrics will be used in the Alive Party 2017 Summer subs so definitely let me know if there’s typos or if something should be corrected! Kanji, romaji, and the English translation are under the cut.

What a beautiful song…the way Daiking (Daiki Yamashita) sings it so much feels plus his vibrato…
John actually cried during this song’s recording. He was touched, and so Daiking.
I actually have no idea what “Free Liner” means eventho I have searched around. So I’ll just leave it as it is. Only John knows lol
This time is a love song with Primula as his significant someone and how sweet Primula is. Although there are obstacles ahead he still wish to meet her and with this song of love, it will surely reaches her.

Durarara!!x2 Ketsu Ending “Giving Regards to the Joker” (ジョーカーに宜しく, “JOOKAA ni Yoroshiku”) by PENGUIN RESEARCH
Another really epic song from Durarara! It pretty much represented the story with the metaphor of a gamble (or the game of Old Maid), and the first time I heard it I was immediately won over by the tune and the lyrics. *w*
I… have no idea how to translate the title. The term here is ‘Yoroshiku’, which as most of you may know is a kind of greeting that asks for someone’s regards. It’s vague enough that it can be both a ‘Hello’ and a ‘Goodbye’, and could be in first, second or third person. The song itself talks about being conscious of the Joker though, so I see the title more along the lines of ‘Please Go Easy On Me, Joker’. xD I’ve went around the internet to find out what other translations are there for the title, but so far I haven’t found anything that actually does it justice. So you’ll just have to make do with my half-a**ed translation here. Oops.
Edit: Omg translation mistake. The second line of the chorus is supposed to be “Don’t depend, don’t cling onto our equally poor luck”. Sorry. I must have been drunk.
