WHO'S ART ARE WE CELEBRATING, BETHESDA ASIA?
As a CN player, I've been away from TESO community for years, but this feed on my timeline has really invoked my rage.
Bethesda Asia, the Asia department of Bethesda & ZOS, has brazenly promoted clearly an AIGC "art" on the platform of bilibili. Here's the link.
For any of human artists, this pictures shows strange perspective/shading/light source/background, and maybe you can find MORE by just looking at it!
I know the CN community often feels like an obscure corner to the global player base, but that does not mean we deserve to be treated like a dumping ground for AI slop. NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT! Not to mention those endless players who have created fanarts, fanfics, fanvids over a decade!
Bethesda and ZOS official accounts on x are always supportive on human artists, even encourage more human fan-creations. When it comes to Bethesda Asia? That's another story. They LITERALLY BETRAYED human artists who are still doing more creations on this game.
As of midnight of 02.12.2026, neither Bethesda Asia nor the Author has decided to answer the question yet: Is it AIGC ?and Why AIGC?
Obviously, they simply do not care. And users who raised same question in the comment section had been drowned out by supporters. ;-)
I am no longer active in the CN TESO community, but I refuse to let this double standard go undocumented. I am archiving this to show how Bethesda Asia is staining the very word 'Create'. I will keep this updated until this AI slop is removed.
I wouldn't be bothered to join this fight, so this is my FIRST and my LAST post on this issue, as I had grown so tired of such chaos years ago.
However, if either the author or Bethesda Asia can prove this work is not AIGC, I will be the first to issue a public apology and make amends for any potential harm caused. But given the silence so far, I don't expect a response.
We may be few, but we exist. And we will remember this.
