Nico stepped forward, his bruised, beaten, tear-streaked face completely gone as a wide smile etched its way onto his lips. His tattered clothes were gone, replaced with a black and white version of his own time-accurate outfit.

I t made Will smile.

“Nico… Welcome home.” He stepped forward, meeting Nico halfway. “Should we stay in tonight?” Nico blushed, a thrill of skeletal butterflies erupting in his stomach.

“Yes…” And together, they took a seat on the living room’s couch, cuddling close together and switching the television on.
