Something I love about six of crows is that it doesn't have the "Save the world" of the " for a greater good" trope. No. They are just a group of traumatized teenagers with weird talents that decided to destroy economy for their own good. And im not saying that is good, but I think it is highly human. They are not selfless, they all need to survive one way or another in a place where only the rich live comfortably. + they find people they can trust and rely on, they become a family of young criminals and that is the cutest thing ever.
YO y'all weren't lying about the six of crows! I couldn't give less fucks about the Shadow and Bone trilogy ( no offense just not my thing) but the six of crows?!?! My God. Now THAT'S my shit. They are my children and every single one of them needs to be protected.

Fake Dating AU but no, not just any fake dating au ... they are all fake dating ... in different pairs ... to try and make each other feel jealous ... in a fucking circle.
It all starts with Nina. Mathias is being stoic and all "I'm happy with how we are now" and Nina wants more than an open relationship with him. So she asks Jesper if he wouldn't mind doing her a favour to mess with Mathias ... fake date just until he gets fed up with it and asks her out. Jesper is all about the chaos and his dad has been asking him to bring a girl home and so is down for it.
Wylan is devestated. He was about to ask Jesper out and now Jesper is taking Nina home to see his dad!! But then a solution falls on his doorstep ... Kaz needs a +1 for an event and needs someone unassuming on his arm that will also cause a stir. Wylan volunteers but they need to pretend to date before for a bit. Wylan's only clause ... they keep it secret from even their team. Kaz (chaos gremlin) is on board.
Inej didn't know that she wasn't willing to wait for Kaz to buck his ideas up until he was moving on with someone else. She gets drunk with Mathias and they drunkenly decide that to make both Nina and Kaz jealous they should just fake date right ...
Basically - all the crows trying to fake date each other. Getting jealous, then getting with the person they wanted to originally ... then realising that maybe they are better and happier as a six
