A cat is a small creature in the middle of the food chain that is fully aware that you are a very large thing that could stomp its head in at any moment and yet it chooses to rest its tiny little head on your leg for a nap and spreads out on the floor near you exposing its belly and its most sensitive organs. It brings dead mice and bugs to you to share food.
Don’t you get it? This tiny thing trusts you. It wants to help you too. It licks your leg thinking that it’s helping. It kneads on you to find comfort. It shares its body warmth with you in the cold and gives you your space in the heat. It hisses at other mammals it sees outside including other cats in an effort to protect its family.
Cats love you so so much. But they will keep trying to eat plastic.
Interviewer, catching Damian in costume: Robin! Can you explain the process of picking up Robin or passing on the mantle?
Damian, mildly annoyed at Bruce at the moment: It's quite simple. Batmam steals young children from their bed, usually nine or ten or so. Then he takes you to his lair and give you a deal.
Damian: If you can beat him in a game of your choosing, he will train you to be Robin. If you lose, you are eaten. I beat him in a classic fencing game. He's quite good with swords, but he wasn't very good with the sport itself.
Tim, standing next to him: Yeah, I beat him at a memory card game. I like totally cheated, but I'm too old for him to eat now, so ot doesn't matter.
Damian, nodding: Yes. The worst part of the job is disposing of failed Robins bones. He usually sucks them clean and leaves them all over the floor.
Tim: Yeah, its messy. But after you hit, like 15 he stops trying to eat you, so that's cool.
Damian: I have not yet reached 15. I'm still in danger. If you have more questions, ask Nightwing, as he was the first to avoid being eaten.

The panel below has always been the moment for me showing that Getou was going to lose.
I mean of course he is the antagonist and he has to lose but also there is always a specific moment in the fight when you go "oh yeah he's done for."
The crux of the issue is the proposed (false) dichotomy between their ideologies: justice vs love. More under the cut!
Yuuta does this for love of his comrades: Maki, Toge, Panda everyone else in Jujutsu Tech who took him in, taught him how to control his powers, they helped him live with Rika (how peaceful or equal that partnership is is another question altogether) however love for Yuuta is not a curse it's warm.
Getou is doing this for justice: for himself, for Gojou, for Haibara, for all the sorcerers that have died being used and abused by the system.
I will maintain that Getou had a point there is a problem in the fact that jujutsu sorcerers are a minority serving a the whole population of Japan (less than 100 people, if that much, for 130 million, that is not equal or just) but his unique circumstances and trauma led him to not choose the path of finding alternative solutions like Yuuki is trying to do.
I lovingly refer to Getou as someone who has "Maximum Uzumaki" in his brain (which is also conveniently is the name of his technique. [insert i've connected the dots meme])
He constantly says one thing but means another.
He wants to bring justice but declares war.
He wants to make a world for jujutsu sorcerers to live peacefully but the most casualties during the night parade of curses were sorcerers.
He wants to make a world for jujutsu sorcerers but calls Maki a monkey.
He takes on the twins but with all the love he also teaches them to murder people.
He thinks he broke out of the system yet he's still exorcising curses and hating his body for it (see the sanitizer scene).
He says he didn't hate anyone at Jujutsu Tech yet, I can not emphasize this enough, he declared a war on them and tried to kill a student.
Which is it Getou?
Now there is a single moment of truth in all of the scramble that Getou says. And it is this panel:
Out of all the contradictions only those are the words that move him to tears.
And it's about affection, admiration, sorcerers risking their lives to save each other (one might say this is also a one liner description of the plot of jujutsu kaisen post shibuya arc, especially shinjuku showdown). In other words love.
Justice without love is cruelty.
But 'love' was a curse for him too just like it was for Gojou.
Getou left the system because love for the people in it has ruined him, because he couldn't save any of them.
Gojou stayed in the system because his love for the people kept him going, because he wanted to try and save as many people as he could.
Aside from all the powerscaling and Yuuta just weilding a stronger curse this is why Getou had to die.
The outward ideology of his was justice above love. While Yuuta's was pure All-encompassing unequivocal love (also conveniently name of his domain [insert I have connected the dots meme])
