"GenesisX" stood up, her neck craning to observe the area properly- eyes with no eyelashes or eyelids to shelter them boring into every inch of her new surroundings. The wrinkles at the sides of her smile tensed slightly, indicating she would've been pursing her lips (had she had any).

"Where am I?"

There are others.

"That is not an answer to my question, you know."

"GenesisX" laughed blithely- her pupils contracting before dilating once more. She tilted her head, ears flopping to the side.

"Ah, really now? And I'm inclined to believe you? How can I be sure this is not yet another cage- a reminder of what I've been through? Something to truly drive home my helplessness? The pain you will never allow me to ignore?"

What you've been through?

Pinch your nose and dive.

The glitch tensed her fingers, her permanent smile tightening at the ends- does she have a choice? If she did, the option of rejection was much too ugly for her to even consider.

A sense of normalcy.

[ Majin moved quickly, exhaustion building up in his bones- but he didn't stop. He knew how this would end, and he wouldn't let it end any other way. ]

[ X was back, he knew that- there would be just a bit of trouble on figuring out *where* he was. But he knew that beast like he knew himself, once- it was all he did really know. ]

[ His heart was pounding in his chest, but he kept on regardless of the pain. He stumbled and yet he didn't ever stop his movement forwards. ]

[ He'll find him, and at the end of the day- both of them will go down. ]

[ It's simple. Majin just has to be quick- ]

[ And how would that be an issue for him? ]

[ Majin almost crumpled under the weight of his own body, teeth grinding against each other- the pain was overwhelming.. But he sees him- him. ]

[ X saw him too, and in his eyes Majin saw that he looked so- so excited. The indigo oddity didn't waste time speaking, what would that do for him? ]

[ Majin launched himself at the other entity, spiking up his quills and spindashing into them multiple times. X redirected him, sending Majin straight into a tree. ]

[ Of course X had to be somewhere so natural, somewhere so pretty. The trees were strong and taller than anything- flowers spraying across the fields. It was so lively, it felt so ill-fitting for what Majin was here to do. ]

[ Regardless of the screaming in his body, Majin continued forth. He manifested a dagger of mirrors in his hand- chucking it into X's throat- immediately slipping into a miniscule shard and pulling himself out of the weapon- slamming his legs into their gut. ]

[ X laughed, a noise that made Majin grit his teeth. ]

Aah, you have no ring keeping you stable..

You silly animal- oh why oh why are you so bold to fight m-?

[ Majin cracked his foot across X's face, being rewarded with an unamused glare. The larger grabbed the indigo one by his leg, pushing his lower leg in the complete wrong direction- snapping it upwards. ]

You have better manners than that..!

[ Once again, Majin didn't entertain the banter- grabbing X's hand and slamming it over his undamaged knee, pulling the dagger out of their throat- wrenching it into their gut. ]

[ X narrowed his eyes slightly, seeming mildly inconvenienced by this. They grabbed Majin by the wrist, twisting it and pulling his hand straight off with a sickening wet crack. ]

[ The oddity barely muffled a scream of agony, body-slamming X and backing off to spare himself a few seconds to recuperate. ]

[ Majin slipped his functional fingers into his thigh pocket, his index and middle locking around a small bottle. A small bit of poison he had saved, goodness- made over a month ago, wasn't it? ]

[ Bless him in the past... ]

[ X launched at Majin, slamming him into the ground. The oddity wriggled, subtly slipping the poison into his palm and bringing out his elbow to make distance between him and his ruthless assailant. ]

[ X huffed in frustration, Majin immediately pulling himself up into a vaguely seated position- shards of mirrors growing out of his face like mandibles. He dug both his teeth and makeshift fangs into X's chin, forcing his mouth open- more metal mixed with mirrors coming out to keep them pierced together. ]

[ Swiftly, despite X attempting to grapple with him- he shoved that bottle of poison into the larger's mouth. ]

[ He swiftly went right up, pulling X's jaw shut with the force- ]

[ Hearing the glass shatter. ]

[ X tore their head away, and Majin noticed something- ]

[ They didn't regenerate. ]

[ The oddity grinned, a genuine smile- not tainted with exhaustion despite his body actively rotting and begging to give out. ]

[ Majin wasn't sure if X swallowed the poison- but he didn't see them spit it out. He could only really hope. ]

[ The oddity launched forwards, whimpering at his mangled leg touching the ground- but still- ]

[ That didn't stop him. He wouldn't let it. ]

[ X grasped at their face, flesh slightly pooling through the gaps in their fingers. Majin stumbled, but still got close enough to X- as they were distracted with their body melting- ]

[ The oddity struggled and grasped- reaching into X's chest. ]

[ Desperate fingers clawing for his soul ring, being countered by painfully strong appendages trying to pull him away. ]

[ Have to. ]

[ Majin's fingers caught something, smooth- but so painfully flawed. He didn't even stop to ponder it- tearing it straight from X's chest. ]

[ As he expected- it was their soul ring. He didn't hesitate, smashing it in his fingers immediately- a portal forming under his hands to the blue forest- the shards falling right in. It closed immediately, X reaching for it uselessly. ]

[ Majin couldn't believe it, that feeling probably supported by the blood loss and mangled limbs. He went limp, laying down next to X- who was now seeping into the grass. ]

[ He breathed in and out rapidly, hissing slightly- eyes flaring widely. ]

[ Majin laughed, head pushing back against the grass. He giggled- like he was watching a show with such an absurd ending that he didn't know how to feel- other than be amused by the nonsensicality. ]

A Letter For All Of My Loved Ones

( Upon reading this, I assume you know I'm already dead. This will be my last message to you, I will be beyond repair. )

( I want to say a few things, to those who made my life more tolerable- made me hate living so much less. )

Jinnie clicked his tongue.

"Sounds like you're gunna' off yourself.."

[ Majin rolled his eyes, not genuinely irritated- the action more playful than genuine. ]

[ Majin crossed his arms, his grin more mischievous- not entirely losing the tenderness it held before. ]

"Okay, yeah.. I gueeesss! It's what good big brothers do, after all! If they lil-brubba-wanna-fuckin'-die... He can do thaaat!"

Jinnie twirled his finger lazily, and Majin was separated from him instantly.

"Have fun!! waaitt.. I have a girlfriend I should check up on.."

[ Majin waved him off, huffing- almost doubling over. ]

[ Clock started. ]

[ Get moving. ]

Jinnie. Hey.

[ Majin smiled softly, quills flattened more than usual. ]

Jinnie clicked his tongue.

[ Reactor has Heresy, Maizey, Razon- he has a good amount of friends. Kerrie has Sunky, Sunky has Kerrie- they're a team. Sunky's been growing to be more independent over this span of time, it hurts- but he doesn't rely on Majin as much anymore. That's a damn good thing. He's doing great. ]

[ Jinnie will be fine. Maizey has Jinnie, Tincan, Reactor- practically anyone, really. Sage has her own group. Every kid I've looked after has someone solid by now. ]

[ I think I can trust everyone to do fine, right? ]

[ As terrified as I am, I know I am not vital to someone else's life. I know they are able to push on, I know they have someone to help with that- ]

[ .. ]

[ I am not needed anymore. ]

[ oh. ]

[ oh thank the Lords above. ]

( The loud cacophony of an audience cheering and whooping cut through whatever silence or noise might've laid there- and slowly the surroundings languidly morphed into a stage. In the audience were a bunch of rocks with sharpie'd on faces, and other Majins. )

( Marvelous Mister Majin found his way on stage, slowly trotting up to the slimmer and overall less flashy version of himself. )

"Oh, look here- everyone! Behold, behold him! You see yet another poor imitation, none of the flare and none of the fun!"

( Triple-M used the hook of his cane to pull the other in by the waist. )

"Why step and groaann- like it's all you've knoowwn-Viciously ruining everything inside, and make them abide-"

"By your gross, sappy- ugly insides?"

"You are an avatar of joy, don't you see? Look at me, and all I do!"

"I think the only question here is.."

"What's wrong with you?"

[ Majin wrinkled his face up, getting his waist free of the cane- brushing off his sides as though it were dirty. ]

Ah, lovely- another dickhead on my doorstep who thinks he means somethin'.

Now, I don't mean to intrude-

And only just annoy?

( MMM grabbed the smaller one's shoulders- nails digging into his skin- all complimented by a wide smile on his face. )

"But, honest- look at you! How can you even hold the name of a creature meant to be made of joy when you're-"

"Decrepit and frankly upsetting. See?! You're putting a damper on my light, you sad-sad-sad little guy! Where'd all that life go, anyhow?"

( Triple-M started pulling on Majin's cheeks, kneading his face while probing for a response. )

[ Majin didn't move to push him off, he just stood there- eye twitching. ]

Life didn't go anywhere, I changed with time-

That doesn't indicate a subtraction of life.. If anything, just an addition of experience.

( The loud cacophony of an audience cheering and whooping cut through whatever silence or noise might've laid there- and slowly the surroundings languidly morphed into a stage. In the audience were a bunch of rocks with sharpie'd on faces, and other Majins. )

( Marvelous Mister Majin found his way on stage, slowly trotting up to the slimmer and overall less flashy version of himself. )

"Oh, look here- everyone! Behold, behold him! You see yet another poor imitation, none of the flare and none of the fun!"

( Triple-M used the hook of his cane to pull the other in by the waist. )

"Why step and groaann- like it's all you've knoowwn-Viciously ruining everything inside, and make them abide-"

"By your gross, sappy- ugly insides?"

"You are an avatar of joy, don't you see? Look at me, and all I do!"

[ Majin wrinkled his face up, getting his waist free of the cane- brushing off his sides as though it were dirty. ]

Ah, lovely- another dickhead on my doorstep who thinks he means somethin'.

Now, I don't mean to intrude-

But don't you think it'll be more than-

And only just annoy?

Life didn't go anywhere, I changed with time-
