Hear me out: au where camp here and there takes place in the same universe as the Magnus archives and Elias doesn’t kill Gertrude and Gerry doesn’t die of brain cancer specifically so Gertrude Robinson can be the Chapel Roan to Lucille Bertuccelli’s good luck babe and then when the elephant man shows up in season one and Jedidiah starts begging Lucille to do something about it not because of his very scared boyfriend, but because the elephant man might flip through one of his journals😱😨😰(we all feel very very bad for him) Lucille calls up her old flame to deal with it and shes like “Jedidiah this is Gertrude she was almost your mama and she’s gonna go kick this elephant guy’s ass as a favour because I dumped her back in 98’ before I met your dad” and Gertrude just gives him a look of utter disappointment while Jedidiah can’t find it in himself to be offended because he is too busy reevaluating the nature of reality as struggles to comprehend that his mother not only has dated a woman, but this strange elderly British lady who has an ominous aura of voyeuristic dread and is just followed around by this equally ominous goth dude with the world’s worst dye job.

He later while looking through Lucille’s stuff in storage for something she asked him to grab stumbles upon her flamethrower which he now notices upon closer inspection has a small tag on it that says “happy anniversary dear. -Gertrude”.

This concept is open to any and all fanfiction writers who feet so inclined as long as you send me a link to the finished product and give me a shoutout in the author’s notes in which I am referred to as your most esteemed broski.

the enormous man who stands across the street from my apartment with the long bony fingers and bloodshot eyes and too wide smile seems like he's just phoning it in this month. his smile was almost normal width last saturday honestly. i taped a single lexapro to the lamppost and left it for him and it was gone in the morning. i hope it helps. you never know what someone else is going through #kind
