11.3.20 | day 65/100 of productivity | inorganic notes from yesterday
everyone, pls vote if you haven’t already and you live in the US, and if you have, thank you. and if you’re just as anxious as me about the result, know that i will be thinking of you and hoping you will be safe and healthy today.
04.11.2020 // getting through my research with the help with colonel sanders!! he needs to hug my hand to fall asleep :")
04.11.2020 Studying for exams as Boston grows colder and darker, the soundtrack to my revision is the hissing of the steel radiator while my soft lights twinkle.
november fourth: after a long day, the sun is shining.
friday, november 6th, 2020 | today was dedicated to knocking out all my homework for the week so I can focus on the Big Projects™ that roll around at the end of the semester. the stress hasn’t hit me yet, but we’ll see how I’m feeling next week haha
07.11.20 / “it is the unknown that truly scares us–the things we cannot see rather than what’s before us.” i was reading earlier this morning before getting some writing done for today’s nanowrimo goal. the first week of november is done. how are you doing? i hope you have a lovely weekend ♡
7.11.2020 A good way to procrastinate an essay is to take the laminate off of your desk! Jokes aside the laminate on my desk that I made back when I first started secondary school was bubbling and really annoying. I took a stanley knife and a plastering spatula to it and took it all off! Dont worry my cat was nowhere near the sharp tools. What do people think of the MDF colour? Should I paint it?

//The best part of the day. :)\\
Trying to give this studyblr a life again. I feel like things are going pretty fast and I'm not able to keep the blr up every other day. And honestly i feel sad about it but i do see that a lot of others are also struggling with something like this. So i guess it isn't just me. And also, I'm trying my best to be back here again as i said. The studyblr community helps me stay motivated like i have mentioned in my previous posts too. And its time i seek my motivational push from this platform again.
Also a few kind souls have been helping me stay positive and less stressed. I would love to mention @patientlystudying and @sleepinmoons here because they are very special to me now. Love you guys from the bottom of my heart. I hope we could meet💓
I dont know what the closing line should be (uh awkward), so umm take care!

alright, I managed to pull myself together and finish preparing and recording a video presentation on generative learning. i feel kind of bad knowing all these great strategies for understanding and retaining material, but only ever doing summaries! anyway, i also prepped my bullet journal for next week and it seems like I have another grueling week ahead work-wise... but i’ll manage, and i also have a few diy projects to look forward to this week!
PS: let me know if you’re interested in a post on learning strategies!

i'm sick. well, at least it's not coronavirus. the sky today was so pretty and calm, unlike me. i tried to study but quickly fell asleep. let's hope that tomorrow will be better
09.10.2020 // **food tw** some more old pictures! my life is a bit of a mess right now, if you can’t already tell. on the bright side, my sister and i went to buy bubble tea today and i made granola. do you ever get intense food cravings for a specific food and you can’t stop thinking about it for days? that’s me with granola right now, and yes, i will be eating it out of my hand tonight by itself while i do history research

I'm still suffering with the lingering effects of a migraine which means that I can't get much done. Instead of working on my PhD, I've spent most of the day reading poetry and rediscovering my love of early modern literature.

15.10.20 - I’ve spent the last couple of days moving into my new house and unpacking all my things! My bookshelves are looking a little empty but that means I can buy more books lmao. Also here’s a pic of my kitty who woke me up at 6am to cuddle and stare at the birds out my window
