She is wearing the common clothes of her culture.

I realized that in the last post I didn't mention her profession

She is a nurse during the war; she joined because her brother (her only relative) was a soldier.

The image where she looks nervous is because she's just starting out and is about 12/13 years old (During this time she is specifically a junior nurse)

In the other picture where she was upset, it's because she's been a nurse for a while now and she is tired

She is blue/azul,Here she is 16 years old .She wears the traditional clothes of her culture(Culture that I invented)

She lives with her only living relative, her brother. Most of her family died in a revolution, including her parents.

She lives in one of the colonies of one of the largest empires

As a curiosity, her name is a poorly translated version of the real one. Most of her people have poorly translated names.

This happens because the empire wants to erase their native language, their culture, and many other things.

Forcibly changing their names to a poorly translated version causes the original meaning of those names to be lost.

There are some whose names are changed to a normal name from the empire

Cringeland Saga

While on the topic of time travel fics, I’ve been thinking of one for such a long time. It’s a Crackfic though.

Imagine Thorfinn’s friends/family, the ones he haven’t met yet, traveling back in time to meet his warrior-self, except they don’t travel at the same time. It’s like an epic prank from Loki or someone… so basically one would travel back in time and once they disappear another one would come.

So at first it’s super confusing cause there’s this guy who says he’s his best friend and brother (Einar), saying they met as slaves which is just ridiculous as Thorfinn would never allow himself to become a slave.

Next is a wide eyed idiot (Bug eyes) who wants to be there with Thorfinn amongst the warriors as much as Thorfinn wants him to be and hides most of the time.

The next one is surprisingly a woman, an angry scar lady to be exact (Hild) who just seems to hate him so so much. He had to dodge a few arrows that week.

By this time Thorfinn is so used to them appearing but nothing could have still prepared him for the day one appeared and told him that she’s his wife (Gudrid)

The last time it happens is arguably the worst time, because instead of an actual adult that Thorfinn can ignore and threaten he gets stuck with a 3-year-old toddler (Karli) for a couple of days who does NOT recognize that he is apparently his father.

Thorfinn is exhausted.
