This is up there with one of the worst. What is more stupid is that all you have to do is select manage options to see everything is disabled by default.

An infinite loop across that moves you between a number of sites and does not allow you to access their content without agreeing to their terms and conditions. This is not what is meant to happen.

Kerrang have surprised me. Their privacy controls are all disabled by default, if you look at the options. If you click I accept they’re all enabled.
That’s the way to do it folks - just not by blocking the content on entry please.

FT.com (Financial Times have dense content explaining how to raise complaints and request global opt-outs of services in Europe and US and instructions on how to block cookies from within the web browser.
Boston Globe have introduced a splash page. Not great, however unlike the rest of the mess out there if you say No Thanks you can continue to enjoy the great content they produce.
crash.net has not one but two cookie policy controls and two entirely different sets of 3rd party supplier lists for each.
The first is using the quickly becoming standard plugin, with the cookie banner taking you to the parent companies cookie policy page where even more companies they share data with is held.
BT have revised their original Cookie module from 2011.

Mixed bag from Yahoo. An immediate doorslam with a process that has a simple visual style but slightly confusing interactions and lots to read. Does tick all the boxes with adequate tools for batch opt-out but feels like lipstick on a pig.
Really poor effort from Right Move. Starts off with a clear call to action, then just degrades massively into volumes of text and tables with hard-to-spot controls.
The Metro lists hundreds of partners —with links to privacy policies— and provides adequate but dry tools for batch opting-out. What makes this one interesting is just how hard it was to find: about 4/5 of the way down the privacy policy.
The best of a bad bunch. A great attempt to make sense of the chaos through great visual and content design, exposing simple controls and providing routes to deeper contexts. Basic and simple, if a bit wordy.
