everyone talks about the paradoxes around women’s beauty in society, but no one every talks about the paradox that is being 17. like everyone starts giving you the responsibilities of being an adult and tell you to grow up, but the minute you start being independent they tell you you can’t do that yet because you are still a child

One of the absolute scariest things that has ever happened to me, is finding someone that I know crying in the bathroom. And this wasn’t like one of my friends or anything, just like someone I have class with who I have a couple inside jokes with or whatever. Like omg someone needs to teach me how to help someone when they are crying because I don’t know what to do.
