Fizzy fruit soda nails that I'd been plotting for a while. The bubbles are made by putting soapy froth on uncured UV gel polish and then curing it.

Amber Cowan's sculptural glasswork is based around the use of recycled, upcycled, and second-life American pressed glass. She uses the process of flameworking, hot-sculpting and glassblowing to create large-scale sculptures that overwhelm the viewer with ornate abstraction and viral accrual. With an instinctive nature towards horror vacui, her pieces reference memory, domesticity and the loss of an industry through the re-use of common items from the aesthetic dustbin of American design. The primary material used for her work is glass cullet sourced from scrap yards supplied by now defunct pressed glass factories as well as flea-markets, antique-stores and donations of broken antiques from households across the country.

Tumblr used to remember the sorting option I had selected for post replies (newest comments first) but now it seems like they added a another option ("best" comments first) which I wouldnt care but it seems to be the forced default now. annoying.

I had literally only ever seen Mel misgendered as he/him until this scene with them confronting Talita started going public, now I've seen them getting she/her'd at least twice. Which could mean nothing.

Having characters with canonical genderless pronouns has started making me think of reflexive binary misgendering as an elaborate rock-paper-scissors game. So in observing Mel, I guess having a thick enough beard trumps having boobs and a thin hourglass figure, but repeatedly being an unlikable character can sometimes trump having a thick beard
