I never finished Naruto when I started it in 2021 so I'm doing it now. But as an adult I can't help but wonder about the potential the anime had to be even BETTER than it is: the political aspects that were never discussed or solved, the different cultures from other countries that should've been explored more, the narratives and stories that the women and girls could've had if all misogyny was eliminated from their story and they weren't tied up to a man or to their looks, and the love stories we could've had if developed better, or even the role of Naruto's dream as a hokage (how he dreamed more of what being hokage meant, than actually doing the job it meant and how that wasn't explored enough). This is my favourite anime ever and I wish it was explored more idc if there were 1000 chapters.
