“I... am sorry. For, like, dying.”
the-wxlf-knight:
“Hey… I heard what you said. I’ve lived in the Digital World with my partner Gaomon. I can tell you it is safe for Digimon to live in. As for the Real World… I believe because you never have seen it in your life. Maybe I could take you to the Real World myself?” He jumped in; providing some info for her.
“I think just, like... suddenly going, out of the blue, would be a bit much. I need some time to actually gather facts, you know? I mean, I want to, but I, ah... yeah.” She didn’t know the words to finish the thought, so she instead awkwardly left it hanging there.
I know the about page says that she has intense social anxiety, and she does. The reason she’s been talking so freely and easily is because she’s been talking to Digimon/Tamers, typically junior to her, or weaker. This means she can fall back on one of her partners without causing alarm at any time.
“You know, as much research as I’ve done, I’ve never actually been to the Real World. I have yet to legitimately find a reason to go there, especially considering I don’t know how well Celes would be able to handle herself out there.” The Night Claw have yet to do research on Digimon surviving in the Real World. While she was curious, she didn’t want to risk it.

“Free huh..cool. Yeah I want to help it as best I can. And well becoming King is the best I could do.” Shoutmon held out his hand. “So any help would be amazing.” He nodded. “I know I know.”
Sayo raches down to shake his hand, nodding. “My name is Sayo, by the way. Ace Tamer of the Night Claw, stationed in DarkMoonCITY. So, exactly how do you plan to become the Digimon King, exactly?”

“There are things I can’t do alone. I need help..Even I know that if I want to become king I will need help…but if you would’t mind. Whats it going to cost me?”
“Uh... hm. I dunno, free, I guess? I have basically everything I could really want, and if your goal is ultimately to help the Digital World, I don’t see why I should charge you. It’ll be difficult enough getting that strong, you know?”

“…I have to find a partner…maybe one that can help me realize my goal to become the digimon king..and fill the digital world with my rocking soul so the digimon can smile.”
“It’s rare to find a wild Digimon that decides they need a partner. Maybe I could help you find someone? I have connections.”
“I should be a motivational speaker. Get young Night Claws pumped up for some serious training.”
light-starlet:
“P-Please don’t give him ideas, Sayo! He’ll follow through on it! I-I don’t want him to get in trouble because he’s busy trying to prove he’s superior to Night Claw!” Mira flailed, while Coronamon’s eyes gleamed mischeviously. He already had an idea, as he began attempting to drag Mira to the warp gate. “N-No, absolutely not, Coronamon! I’m mad at you now! You’re definitely up to something!”
“All I did was give him something to strive for, to fuel his motivation to properly work up to the level he acts. He can say he’s the best, but I’ll only accept that when he beats my team of three. Whether or not he uses allies is up to you two, but you know he’s going to need them.” She was actually fairly satisfied with her work, and Yannic seemed to be temporarily amused. She had also set off a fire in a weaker Digimon’s heart to get stronger.
... Now if she was done here, this CITY always hurt her eyes. Too much gold.
light-starlet:
Coronamon flinched at Sayo’s words, backing away somewhat. No, he didn’t want to die, but he was too prideful to just change. He wouldn’t allow it! But, he supposed he could behave some…As long as people understood that they were beneath him on the social ladder.
“Y-Yeah, you need to behave more often, Coronamon…I don’t want you to get deleted because of your pride! What would you do if I couldn’t keep you out of trouble? You know the only reason Chief Glare lets you hang around is because I’m your Tamer!”
“Also, maybe train a little to get actually strong before you start boasting. Yannic couldn’t even feel that attack of yours, so keep trying.” She added in quickly, curious to see exactly what kind of mess he’d create if he actually was strong. The aforementioned Digimon is now staring at Mira, seemingly trying to sort something out to itself.
light-starlet:
“…I actually told Chief Glare that he had snuck into my Tamer Home and demanded I be his Tamer. So, I kinda lied about how I met him to Chief Glare…I snuck to task Canyon a year ago to try finding a Digimon partner, and…Well, the Wild Digimon were about to jump at the chance to attack a human. He was being bullied by a Shakkoumon, though, and I may have taken the hit for him…But I couldn’t just leave him there! He would have died! I don’t want Coronamon to get deleted, Sayo!”
Coronamon was balking at how Mira just…Blatantly told somebody how they had met. He had a reputation as an elitist to uphold, and she just fried it with a flamethrower! Though, he wouldn’t admit it, but he was slightly touched at how she didn’t want him to die.
“Hear that, Coronamon? I bet you don’t want to die either, but it’s our job to eliminate Digimon that could pose a threat. Even if you have no ill intent now, that personality could be harmful later on, if you’re not willing to now attack others.” She can at least keep Yannic and Leon from going nuts and wildly attacking people. She bends over, to get closer to his height level. “So you two better start working together. Also, probably stop picking fights pointlessly.”
light-starlet:
“W-What!? N-N-No! I don’t want Coronamon put out of commission!” Mira panicked on realizing that his attitude was most definitely heading that way. That would leave her without a partner, and would most likely leave him deleted! “Coronamon, you stop that right now, or, or…Or I’ll take you back to that canyon!” It was obvious she was talking about Task Canyon, considering wild Sunmon were usually seen there. But wouldn’t that mean Coronamon was a Wild Digimon once?
“Canyon, huh...? I figured. They don’t exactly hand these guys out like candy.” Sayo couldn’t remember exactly where she had found Celes’ egg, but she did know that they became partners independent of her being a tamer. “So you have been to somewhere more dangerous. Is this something you keep under wraps, or...?”
light-starlet:
“Gatling Punch!” And thus, Coronamon chose what he saw was the perfect time to strike, and…Well, struck. With about all the force you would expect from a low level Digimon with according stats.
“…N-No, no no no…C-Coronamon, whyyyyyy…” Mira wanted to shrink away and disappear. Maybe it’d be better that way, considering Coronamon just literally assaulted a Mega Level Digimon that could easily put him in his place. “Oh, Chief Glare is going to be so angry…I don’t wanna be suspended from active duty…!”
“... He’s got issues.” Sayo was momentarily worried, until she realized how weak Coronamon must be. With Yannic’s absurd level of strength they were completely unfazed by the attack, and possibly just didn’t feel it. As such, their response was... non-existent. They continued to watch Coronamon with curiosity.
“I think, rather than finding a good teammate for Coronamon, you should try getting him to learn respect, or you’re going to get in deep trouble a lot, when he’s stronger. Glare might even have to put him out of commission.”
light-starlet:
“W-Wait, I can’t ask you to do that for my sake! I’d feel guilty dragging you around! And besides, would Chief Julia even allow that!? I-I mean, I haven’t even been a Normal Tamer very long! I just got access to the Sunken Tunnel!” It actually took Mira practically living on Operator duty for a couple of months before she could go to the Sunken Tunnel, but beyond that, she had no clue of how to get permission.
Meanwhile, Coronamon was observing the Minervamon with the same disdain he had held towards Celes, silently planning a strike that he believed would prove his superiority once and for all…Or, so he hoped.
“Well, Betamon’s found in Sunken Tunnel, right? If you want one, that’s the place to start. Maybe find some missions you can do while there to prove that you’re cool and competent.” Maybe. She got as far as she did by doing cool things, without actually really following what was going on.
Yannic continues to stare at Coronamon, wondering what’s up with him. Was he sick or something? He seemed fine, his face just looked sort of really ugly.
light-starlet:
“…That…Just might work! I just need Digimon that won’t immediately attack Coronamon for his behavior! …Wait, what Digimon even fit that criteria?” Mira tilted her head a bit, theoretically scratching her brain for possible ideas. “…I can only think of Betamon and Biyomon, but I don’t have permission to enter the Limit Valley yet…”
“Er... How exactly do you go about getting permission, again?” Since she had to rush out everywhere to save the digital world and was just sort of given access to everywhere, she doesn’t know how to earn it the proper way. “But I think a Digimon is generally unique, with their personality. Push comes to shove, make one. If you need an escort or something, let me know.”
light-starlet:
“Chief Glare says the same thing, but I honestly don’t know what Digimon would actually put up with Coronamon…I really want a team that actually works well together, one that I can depend on for any situation. I know Union Tamers like us are allowed up to forty Digimon, with a ‘Party’ of six consisting of three ‘Active’ Digimon and three ‘Standby’ Digimon, but…Well, as you’ve seen, Coronamon is hard to get along with.” Mira nodded, though; She somewhat assumed that DNA Digivolution didn’t entirely have all the kinks worked out. Some Digimon, like Omnimon, had components that could easily work together. Others, like ShineGreymon Burst Mode, used the other component to fuel their Burst Mode. And Digimon like Chaosmon, where there were two conflicting personalities, were unstable. It was likely a case of the last for the Minervamon.
“You’d... be surprised. My team consists of a condescending princess-type, a gallant ‘knight’, a primal force, and a cocky delinquent, yet they work together surprisingly well. Rather than trying to find someone who would get along, look for someone who wouldn’t immediately attack him, and he wouldn’t immediately attack. It’ll work out, given time.”
Gods know Knightmon and Yvon despised each other, as both wanted to be the knight in shining armor of Sayo’s tale, and yet they still fought side by side. “Unify them in a cause. That always works out.”
light-starlet:
“Th-That’s a…” That was one of the Olympus XII, Minervamon! If Sayo had tamed that, then she really was as great as she had heard! Now Mira really wanted to get as strong as her! “I-I’ve never seen a Minervamon before! O-Oh, wow…It looks scary strong!” It was almost intimidating, really.
And Coronamon simply spat at the newcomer, too. How dare this Night Claw summon an inferior Digimon in his presence!? How infuriating! And that childish twit of a Tamer he had was being stubbornly amiable with the enemy! Perhaps he should use his Gatling Punch and be done with it?
“Technically, Coronamon’s Mega form is also a part of that group, as is Lunamon’s... Ah, could you be a little more gentle with Yannic? They, ah... still have a bit of issues to work through. DNA Digivolution was a lot rougher on them than I had thought.”
The Digimon just sat down next to Sayo, opting not to say anything, but looks in Coronamon’s direction. Sayo just let them be, and continued adressing Mira. “You know, you should consider expanding your team a little, before you seriously start training. Only having Coronamon may make things difficult.”
