6/14 Summer Upon Us

Summer is upon us, Spring has been beautiful in these parts, this year. Now, gardens are in, farmers still plowing larger tracts of land in anticipation of corn, leaves are fresh, new; Chestnut tree just finished up its blossoming season, Lillies are beginning to make the scene. My first-ever clover patch is a big hit with Bumble & Honey Bees, bird-houses are inhabited-- life in them on the frenetic side as nearly as I can see. My art is on the slow side, this year. I have a new work on the easel, but am trudging along with it. I may paint over this attempt, entirely-- in white, and start again.
