Its sad that 13 articles from Jared, a bunch of hype at conventions and Amazon even giving time to the reunion, that none of that did anything for the rating of the epsisode and now its the second worst epsidoe of the season.

Can people stop show runners from their vanity needs and have them focus on finishing the show!! Can they stop doing vanity cameos and doing things for actors kids and just make a show?!?

I agree 100% with this (and that’s coming from someone who wants more Misha on my screen).

I enjoyed the “reunion” (and admittedly have watched it numerous times) but as a fan of The Boys before Jensen was even a part of it, I’ll admit there was no reason for it and it stole 10+ minutes away from moving the plot forward with only 3 episodes to go.

I'm never a fan of stunt casting. It takes the viewer out of the show and most of the time is a distraction. The only time it kind of works is if it's locked down and the viewer is surprised (but since Kripke was looking for ratings and good press that was never happening).

I've loved The Boys from the first episode. I was happy to see Misha and he did a great job but I was more irked about the fact that his character could disarm Homelander and nobody clocked that. In a season where killing Homelander is job one that seems like a huge mistake. Unless I'm missing something?

The stunt casting that worked was Seth Rogan. He's an EP on the show and it made sense for him to have a moment. But the SPN reunion - as much as I adore Misha - added nothing to the show.

Yes. I thought if Misha had a substantial stint on the Boys it could generate interest in him for other work.

But see that’s because unlike Jared, Misha can act. And if given enough screen time, Jared, well, no.

Oddly? The more screen time Jared gets the worse his chances are for garnering interest.

What I didn’t do was pin Misha’s entire career on this appearance…unlike Jared’s fans.

All we heard was how he was getting more screen time, in the trainers and the show, and that meant he was super (no pun intended) important and obviously Misha wasn’t and blah blah blah.

This week Misha’s fans are pleased with how it all went over. Meanwhile Jared’s fans are trolling accounts that aren’t Jared fans instead of enjoying what they got. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm a Misha girl and certainly biased, but I've watched their scenes dozens of times now and couldn't tell you one Jared line. He wasn't good or bad, he just didn't stand out to me. Anyone could have played Jared's part.

He couldn't keep his yap shut and oversold his appearance. Jared didn't add anything to The Boys. And his peeps know it.

You ever think about how much of Castiel is just Misha’s sheer love and will to give the character depth and personality?

His gravelly voice, intense stare, head tilts and squinting, pop culture and general humanity obliviousness, stiff posture, gay acting choices like sitting on the bed and waiting for Dean to wake up, establishing the “Cas watches Dean sleep” trait… Then there are the accidental wardrobe choices like tying the tie backwards on his first shooting day, and being afraid to tell his oversized clothing don’t fit for 2 years of production.

He basically wrote the character into the narrative. This man was given a 3 episode disposable guy role and decided well I’m gonna make him real. Yes, the writers wrote his plotline, but Misha established how his own character would react to that plotline. Pretty fascinating to me.

Isn't Anthony the lead in TB. What was he doing with Jared. Are they going to be sharing screen? If yes.. yucks. This is gonna suck so bad. He can't even act to save his career. Why would kripke even put him with such strong actors. I mean if anthony is gonna be there so is Jensen. Jensen is gonna be so embarrassed. If he is there that means misha must be sharing the screen with the lead too. I don't think Jensen would let it happen. The disrespect. That idiot doesn't deserve it.

We haven’t gotten a lot of details, but it seems both Homelander and Soldier Boy go to see Jared’s character, and Misha’s character is there as well. So, all four share the scene it seems. But yeah… watching Jared act across from Antony and what Jensen brings as SB is going to be hilarious to watch 😂. I’m not worried about Misha in the least, because he’s held his own with bigger names.

I'm with you, Misha is a force - no worries there. Jensen has said that Misha makes him a better actor. And at one of the Cockles panels after the shoot, Jensen told Misha he was proud of him. I can't wait to see it.

The fact that Jared is friends with Kripke doesn’t mean he was in the right to give him shit on set, it means he should’ve had enough respect for Kripke to not give him shit. They were under work conditions and he should’ve been treating him like the boss. Like Jensen said, that wasn’t their house. Jared should have had more respect for his friend.

It’s just another story that makes Jared look like a total douche bag. And if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…
