The MISSION
Blazing beyond wake ânâ bake and doing more than just livinâ life.
We are a community of cultivators and creators who hunger for content to lift our spirits, elevate our thinking and raise our consciousness.
RISE & SHINE is a celebration of movements and individuals who use their higher state of mind to push boundaries, break conventions and shine so bright they change the world.
Itâs time to bask in the sunlight above the dank clouds.
Itâs time to RISE & SHINE.
Our Ideal Consumer
Secondary in our business model, but first in our vision, is a cannabis enthusiast who seeks to live an elevated lifestyle: the sophisticated stoner.
An individualâregardless of age, race, or genderâwho utilizes the healing and uplifting powers of their daily ritual to remain a high-functioning member of society. They are conscious of what they purchase, of what they consume, and above all, of how they behave. Because at the end of the day, they are a walking representation of cannabis culture.
From the modern-day hippie to the professional pothead, this is a community of people whose lives do not revolve around cannabis, but for them, cannabis is the all-natural catalyst that evolves their life.

This is a very interesting video featuring Kevin Alloca at YouTube. He discusses the nature of virality. This makes me think about the awe-factor, as well how audiences engage with content on the Internet.Â

Innovators in Cannabis Radio
My friends and I work in food, cannabis - as well as in the creative/entertainment industry. We love to talk about interests in marketing, business trends, pop culture - and all things that intersect. My mind has been literally exploding with ideas this semester. This class has taught me a lot about how I am going to apply practical value, social currency and storytelling to my food business, cannabis business, and my role in music and entertainment. I recently performed at the Latin American music awards. A buddy of mine who works in production with Univision happened to be at the award show and we had a great conversation about podcasts. We are both stoners. Actually he is one of the writers responsible for the classic Budweiser commercial with the three bullfrogs going; âBuuud - Weiiii -Zzzerrrrâ -Â
This commercial happened to launch one year during a Super Bowl. He talks about it being a personal joke between him and a close friend, they pitched it and it took off. Our conversation brought us to this idea about not trying too hard. He says the best stories are real ones you know, the best jokes are ones that you and your friends really laugh about.. He runs a hilarious podcast about being a Cowboys fan in Miami - I heard it and felt so much more closer to my buddy Jerry. I woke up the following morning and decided I would record a podcast with a couple of my friends. What happened in the middle of those three hours was absolutely amazing. Here is the preview to the brand new rise and shine podcast platform!!

The dust is settling over the great Szechuan sauce debacle of 2017, McDonaldâs spectacular failure of a promotional event. Last Saturday, the fast-food giant tried to capitalize on Rick And Morty fansâ obsession with Rickâs dipping-sauce obsession, but either didnât anticipate the overwhelming responseâpresumably because no one in the marketing department bothered to so much as glance at Twitter in the days before the promoâor figured that people who love a cartoon wouldnât get in a snit if they were ultimately denied said sauce. They were wrong on both counts.
McDonald's marketing, get with the program!
