Hello Again!
Hello again, blog readers!
While, it has been a long time since I have updated you on this blog, I am proud to say that overall in 2014 I have made a few good strides in my health and fitness journey.
Once college hit I went through a rough patch health and fitness wise. I could probably contribute a lot of the weight gain to alcohol and "drunk food" (sorry mom). I think many college students can relate to this. About a month into the school yea I started going to the gym avidly, but I know now that is not enough. I am up 7 pounds since the last time I weighed myself which was in February (and let's just say this isn't muscle weight). So therefore I have set myself a few resolutions for this year!
1. NO Soda-I don't think this needs much of an explanation but it's something I can and should go without.
2. Stop eating a chocolate chip bagel every damn morning- Chocolate chip bread is not a nutritious meal...anyways it's wasting my meal points.
3. Cut back on the fried food-yes, Michelle this means mozzarella sticks.
4. Try eating more vegetarian meals-good for the body, soul, and the environment (and I don't even like meat that much)
5. Snack better while studying!!!!!
6. Less pasta at the dining hall-more salad and veggies!
7. Add more strength training into my workouts (don't be a pussy, Michelle)
8. Try and pick up running again-and maybe swim a lap or two while you're at it!
9. Keep up the blog-I plan on posting updates every Sunday!
