She really hated it the first few weeks after she showed up.

She felt like it marked her as a sequel or derivative, instead of mattering as her own person (In Caine’s eyes at least). Which just felt like rubbing salt into the *everything else happening to her* Despite the maybe canon Spudsy’s sketch, she has not actually found a way to remove it reliably yet.

But any time she has managed to break it off, Caine always pops it back the next time she sees him. So she has stopped trying
