My mother used to throw the grandest of parties. Bright and bold decorations. Guests I barely knew. She'd dress me up in my Sunday best and dig her fingers into my shoulders. Smiling that all too knowing smile and say, “ Smile, darling. Everyone's watching.” No one really was, no one ever would. But I could feel the eyes. Eyes that would stare into my soul and render my flesh bare and raw before its ever present gaze. Eyes of hundreds of strangers that would become my own.

And yet, with so many eyes staring at me. I felt so very alone. Even now when I am forgotten in these endless passages, I still don't feel as alone as I did then. I think the spying may be to blame for that. It's hard to separate yourself from the people you've watched so long and so intimately. I try not to look too deeply into them, that it's disrespectful and more creepy than it already is. But I still must be vigilant on just who to trust.

Maeve is kind. She wants to be liked. But the company she wants is the company I would like to avoid. I just hope someone brings her to her senses before she's too wrapped up to know what thoughts are her own and which are being fed to her.

Bertram is new, but I can see the confusion in his mind. He wants to prove something, and two broken and paranoid minds are not very useful in the long run.

Mary is nowhere near an option.

I don’t know what to think of Atticus. I almost didn't think he was real. Even as I was looking straight at him, I couldn't think of him as anything else but a ghost. Yet, he spoke to me and I to him. Even though the conversation was brief and dire. I felt like a person again. Whole for the first time.

He has forgotten me by now, I know. It's better that way. Less complications. I need more information, and I need his eyes to do so. Nothing more.

Their names are Dagon (Yautja) and Rosalind! They both met after Dagon came to earth on a hunt and accidentally got confused for a knight (with his armor and such) and thrown into a dual for the hand of the lady, Rosalind.

He obviously won and has just kinda been sticking around for shits and giggles. As well as appreciation for Rosalind's company and glorious arena battles.

He acts as her knight, and despite what some might think. Their relationship is actually platonic, for now. In the way of an old, timey chivalrous knight and his lady is. Except that chivalrous knight is an over 400lb alien who brings her dead things from time time. He's a big sweet boy.

When I get the time, I'll be sitting down to make another short animatic with them.

My test prints are here and they look gorgeous! Colors turned out great and the quality is lovely. I am keeping these two because of some slight defects with the gloss. But otherwise the rest turned out beautifully. Keep an eye out for the pre order announcement!
