I have to organize some things but I really want to write and post my theory that Duazul is Morena Prudoās (the fake Morena or, in other words, our Morena) mother šš
I was reading a post made by an Arabic hxh fan, where they pointed out that Togashi gave the same room number to both Camila and Morena, 302, so I made a small theory about this.
So, ā302ā is sanbyaku ni (äøē¾äŗ or äøćäŗ) and I have three thoughts (overthinking honestly)
(I donāt speak Japanese, those are just shallow and limited interpretations)
Togashi could meant for us to interpret them separately āsanā, āhyakuā, āmaruā, āniā.
San can be interpreted as āThreeā if you assume is about a number specifically, but if you just say it at loud, it can have more than one meaning, but in this case, letās assume itās about a number. (However keep in mind that it could have more than one meaning)
The second is āhyakuā like absolutely, all, many, a lot. ā100ā can also be indicated as āmaruā which means Circle or Round, like yes, correct, and can also indicate a safe trip. In that sense, could indicate that Camilla and/or Morena will have a safe return home?
I wouldnāt put it past togashi to leave indications of characters that are going to live and the ones who are going to die though the story. At the same time, it is something to wonder about the reason of why both of the characters share the same number
Ps: In the last sentence, āhyakuā can be heard as āhayakuā, an indication that something was done or must be done as soon as possible.
Next is āNiā. It can basically mean āto goā, āto comeā, āto enterā, frequently used along side certain verbs. As in ātoā or āatā.
Because they are numbers that indicate different rooms in the ship, I kind of interpret it having some sort of personal connexion between the two of them or at least of being a visual indicative that they are related in a way
It seems like they have some sort of hidden parallel between themselves. Camila is the second child, Morena have specifically two scars, that sort of subtle thing that could mean nothing or something
- Maybe this all is an indicative that theyāll swap places? Or that Morena will take Camilaās place in an attempt to hide? It is implied that she and the killers were not planning an encounter with the phantom troupe and the other mafia so soon soā¦
Maybe it means that as soon as the third son, prince Zhang Lei, dies (remember, heās the main benefactor of Xi-Yu and the THIRD prince) ā and I believe Heil-Ly will have something to do with it ā Morena will swap places with Camilla.
Also it is interesting to me, that someone as aggressive and impulsive as Camilla have such a āback upā type of ability, honestly, itās something I would have thought someone whoās really anxious or afraid would have. Was she planning something from the start? Did they?
Maybe this is just less about Camilla and more about Morena. I guess she analyzed the princes and judged that Camilla would be the easiest one to impersonate. It wouldnāt be the first time she does that after all
I canāt help but talk about Camila, I think thereās more to her. I donāt think she was impulsive I think sheās really planning something.
She already knew about nen, for example, and with the exception of Benjamin, none of the other princes knew about it. I think sheās more intelligent that she lets on
Huge jump of conclusions but it crossed my mind so anyway; If we assume 302 to be a code, a phrase, then Iād like to interpret it to be something like this, āAs soon as the third diesā
Queen Camillaās nen ability is called āThe cat who lived a million timesā. Then, if we assume that San as a indicative of the number 3 itself, hyaku as ātotalityā and Ni in the grammatical sense to add to the phrase, I think it would sum up to something like that
Thereās also this:
āTemporary redirectā š¤ I think it could also mean theyāll exchange places š¤·š¤· Both are connected with the concept of resurrection so I donāt doubt it completely
A big question yet to be answered is why did Oitoās sister agreed to exchange her baby with her sisterās. In more than one occasion, Oitoās decision has depended on fake Wobleās reaction. It could be more of an emotional reaction, but it could also be something else
She didnāt know about nen, but that doesnāt necessarily have to extend to people close to her such as family and, for example, her sister. Maybe her sister knows something about her childās condition and thatās why she accepted, maybe even suggested the idea in the first place?
I think that the theory that fake Wobleās real father is Beyond could fit somewhere there. If he wanted to implant one of his children in the SW, that would be a good opportunity. Naturally, to make sure that this plan would work, it makes sense to assume he would rather implant one there since the start but honestly? A baby makes a lot of sense as well, is easier to control a baby than a grown adult. If he wanted to use his child for a sacrifice for example, a vulnerable one would fit best for his objectives
I mean, I always wondered how Oito came to have access to King Nasubi, it seems like too much āluckā to be true. I wouldnāt doubt that someone else has arranged that, it would look inconspicuous at first, Oito is the new, innocent woman with a poor background and no powerful connections, is easy to consider that no one would bat an eye at her or her baby.
If it is true that Beyond has one of his children in the SW, out of all of the oldest princes, only two knew nen previously, they would have realized had Beyond done something related to nen, besides, thereās also the thing with being the oldest, they attract too much attention. The other ones could also realize that there was something strange happening and start to make questions and that could make his plans come to light but a baby would not
Also, if her sister had said something about fake Woble having something like āprophecyā powers and ones that she could prove the baby had, Oito would probably believe it. Also, could that āprophecyā powers be related to nen? I donāt think is unlikely
She could have said that the baby could feel and know where safety was and thatās why she interpreted fake Woble reaching for Kurapika as a sign that she could/should trust him.
I mean, it is a theme that has been used more than twice, is like Togashi is pointing to us the direction he wants us to pay attention to. It just seems unlikely of him to point at something so vehemently if it was just an emotional reaction on Oitoās part
There is cultures where is common to put the babies to point at objects, in the sense that if one was chosen, it would have a specific meaning, like following a career or having bad/good luck
Something to add, in russia and slavic folklore, a baby born with a caul is considered to be lucky, and protected, giving them immunity to danger (and thereās a saying that, specifically, that they can never drown). Just another example of a superstition regarding babies
If Beyond wanted to put a child of his in this, what better way to involve someone who could have no way of refusing or fighting it and that it wouldnāt attract attention if it had a nen related ability protecting them because of the nen beasts?
I think thatās what Toagashi was implying with Kurapikaās reaction to the strange presence he felt when he looked at him. I will check once again, but if Iām not mistaken, no other bodyguard had such a reaction to their princes nen beasts, with the exception of the ones who didnāt know about nen and the one who werenāt honest in their intentions, like when Theta was threatened by Tserriās nen beast when she thought of killing him. Kurapika, however, never wanted to hurt the baby and knows about nen
Anyways I also wonder if Beyond in possession or control in some way of one of the Kakin treasurers. If thatās so, it makes sense he ādoesnāt have to do anythingā, something else might as well be doing the job for him
Will Kurapika clash with Beyond somewhere in this arc?
As I was rereading the SW (for the millionth time š ), I realized that thereās a scene in chapter 401 where the fifth princeās bodyguard is explaining about being cursed as one of Beyond children:
It kinda of collaborates with this theory, because if the bodyguards who are Beyondās children are cursed to kill specific targets, then that could mean he did it because he knew his child, the one he could have had with Oitoās sister, wouldnāt be able to protect themselves, because theyāre just a baby.

About the Sonata of Darkness that Melody is searching for, maybe the composition is inspired by HellBell? You know, hellBELL. It kinda implies that it may a be a sound type of thing and, I donāt know, someone wrote a song based on it?
When Kurapika said to Chrollo that he shouldnāt trust appearances I canāt help but think that he took that was an opportunity to express how he himself shouldnāt trust appearances to judge people
Iām pretty sure that when he saw Chrollo for the first time, he couldnāt wrap his mind on how young he was and how he much he wasnāt at all like what he he had imagined when he thought of the person that had leaded the massacre on his people

The voyage of the Black Whale has departed officially during the pre-departure ceremony on August 7th. This date is the interesting part here, why you may ask?
Well, first of all, Togashi was born in ShinjÅ, Yamagata Prefecture. The chapter of which the BW set sail was 359, which was published originally at June 27, 2016.
Second, in Japan, in this time of the year it is usually celebrated the āTanabataā.
In many places in Japan, Tanabata celebration started on July 7, 2016. However, in Yamagata Prefecture, it was primarily celebrated regional Tanabata variations on August 7, 2016.
In the same year Tanabata fell on a Sunday, which was the exact day of the week and date of when the BW set sail. So yes, I think Togashi was basing the date of events of the Black Whale on the calendar of that year or something like that.
Now, letās look into what Tanabata festival is about.
Tanabata means the "Evening of the Seventh" is also known as the Star Festival, that originated from chinese Qixi Festival (The Festival to Plead for Skills" (ä¹å·§å„ , KikkÅden)).
Itās a celebration of the meeting between the two deities Orihime and Hikoboshi (The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl) who are represented by the stars Vega and Altair.
Iām sure some of you may already be familiar with the story, but Iād like to make a short summary of it for those who are hearing it for the first time.
Firt of all, in Japan this festival has been mixed with Obon or Bon traditions, with Bon being held on 15th of the seventh month then ā nowadays on the 15 August ā and with this, the Tanabata has been created. (Iāll mention more about Obon later on)
Orihime wove clothes by the heavenly river, her father loved the cloth that she wove and so she worked very hard every day to weave it. One day, her father arranged for her to meet Hikoboshi (彦ę; "Cowman"/"Cowherd Star", or literally "Boy Star").
(I couldnāt help but remember Chrolloās āLucilferā name, being a reference to the word Lucifer that is translated as Morning star, so āHokiboshi / Boy Starāā¦)
It is said, that in the instant they met, they fell deeply in love, and so married shortly after. However because she was now married and living with her husband, she couldnāt weave cloth and Hikoboshi would let his cows wander all over Heaven, so her father became angered and separated them.
Orihime was so sad and begged her father to let them meet again. Moved, he allowed them to meet on the 7th day of 7th month if she worked hard and finished her weaving.
The first time they tried to meet, they found out there was no bridge.
Almost like in York New when they werenāt able to properly meet (they werenāt ready yet? Were too late?)
Orihime cried so much that a flock o magpies came and promised to make a bridge with their wings so that they could meet.
It is said that if it rains on Tanabata, the magpies cannot come because of the rise of the river and the two lovers must wait until another year to meet. The rain of this day is called "The tears of Orihime and Hikoboshi".
When Kurapika and Chrollo met for the first time in York New, it was raining.
Was this why it was raining in that day? Was this why the rain stopped as soon as they separated again? Were they really not ready to actually meet? I always felt like it was something like that, like āthereās something missingā, maybe is because of that.
Ahhh They were so perfect that the heavens had to separate them in envyā¦ Particularly, I like to see Orihimeās father as less of a father and more as destiny/life.
I can see Chrollo and Kurapika as Hikoboshi and Orihime respectively btw, but I can also see the opposite.
