Nov 19. My small northern town got its first snowstorm of the season last night. This morning everything was bright and quiet. I went for a long wandering walk and did some quick pencil sketches with my mitts on. I have so much to learn about landscapes, composition and light. But for today my only goal was to get out and draw until my hands got too cold.
