His horse rears and dances in the box before letting loose after the steer

I can just see him holding the rope between his teeth as his fierce eyes are focused

John

Bronc rider

Takes a certain level of flashy to smile like he does on the back of bucking horse

Grinning the entire time, even when he dismounts into the dirt

Jacob

Multi sport, bull riding and cutting

As a bull rider, he is serious, only riding the biggest and most raunchy

He partners with Faith for team cutting, adding his big voice to keep the cows from passing him and his unit of a gelding

Faith

Also multi sport, barrel racing and cutting

Her mare is tight around barrels and Faith praises her on every turn

She does team cutting with Jacob as well as solo cutting on the mother of her barrel horse

Bonus: The Deputy

Barrel races and tie down

Faith is their greatest rival, always has a time just a smidge above or below hers

Tie down brings her close to Joseph (roping) and they trade technique advice

art for my au (work in progress) where the seeds survive the events of fc5, are arrested by the deputy, then tried in court but walk free due to rigging the jury with peggies and john blackmailing the judges

(subsequently rook, now facing intense scrutiny and blame for the events in hope county, begins to crack under the pressure and wonders if killing them really is the only way, all the while joseph tries to push them to join the project and he’ll make their criminal charges “disappear”)

A John Headcanon

John Seed is very food motivated

• He was starved to the point of malnourishment as a child

• He grew up in the south, where basically food=love

• Anything home made, or even a thoughtful doggie bag, would mean WAY more to him than it would to whoever brought it

• *John tearing up* "Dude chill it's just my leftovers"

• Hates eating alone

• Can cook, but usually resorts to depression meals if by himself (sitting in front of the fridge with an entire bag of spinach for example)

• Used to drink meal replacement drinks all the time to avoid eating alone, but Joseph was worried and asked him to stop

• Joke's on Joseph, now John uses coffee as a meal replacement

• People think he likes to host dinner parties to show off his wealth, but it's really just to have people to eat with

• Loves to cook for his partner

• His heart will basically explode of his partner cooks for him

• Huge sweet tooth
