something I noticed and have not seen anyone talk about, literally since the book came out.

Haymitch talks with Beetee about getting the cap and other explosives but into the arena. He asks about these things because he learned it in school. Between the 10th to 50th games it can be assumed that District 12 was like the rest, teaching their districts skills in school.

Yet, come Hunger Games, Katniss remarks how 12 was always set up to fail because they didn't learn about coal mining in school.

Leading us to learn that somewhere in the 25 years between the Victor's games, the entire education system of District 12 was changed. Because teaching kids how to rig explosives before sending them into the arena made them primed to destroy the arena.

After watching ER, where damn near every single overweight patient is the butt of some kind of joke, it is so refreshing to see how The Pitt handled this. He's treated with dignity and respect and Ogilvie is actually protrayed as the weird one for continously making strange comments about his weight.

It's so incredibly wonderful to see a fat person on TV be treated like an actual human being and not some inconvenient abomination, especially within a medical show.

you have fallen for AI before. even if you don’t believe you could ever fall for AI, you very more than likely have at this point. you have scrolled past an AI generated ad not realizing it was AI. you’ve seen a drawing online and thought “oh that looks cool,” not realizing it was not created a person. i’m not saying this to scare you, but i am saying it as a reminder that you are not immune to how realistic AI is becoming
