I'm learning to sew not because I want to make and sell things but because the act of organizing sequins by color and then attaching them in a pleasing pattern makes the brain go brrrr.

I do watercolor paintings because I enjoy the act of making beautiful things but also because watching the pigment settle onto the paper like rivers and deltas is brain calming.

I bake bread because DOUGH.
