"Apparently your eyes are the color of the ocean,
but at least, only I know your laughter sounds like the sea."

During the lonely years following Sokka’s death, Zuko tried his best to hold on, but he was shattered; eventually, at the end of his long life, he found comfort in what Sokka told him before passing away.
“Don’t you think I’ll leave you alone, I’ll haunt you in all our next lives ‘till I find you again”. He even managed to smirk. What a dumbass.

At the end of 2023, during an archeological excavation, beautiful clothes and books belonging to the Fire Nation and the Water Tribe are discovered; an ample exhibition is held and people from all over the world gathered together to visit it.
A young student is hypnotized by a simple, yet captivating ivory necklace; he is so fascinated by it he bumps into another student, who was funnily spinning aroung himself, trying to admire five Fire Nation robes at the same time.
They distractedly looked at each other and briefly apologized before heading towards other areas, only to meet again in the following rooms for three times.
The taller one eventually smiled, instinctively playing with a strand of ebony, long silk hair to conceal the scar on the left side of his face.
“Haunting me?”
The other boy coarsely laughed, his bright blue eyes turning away from a scroll to look at the source of that sentence, meeting two golden irises.
“Looks like it”.
The day after Giyuu’s 25th birthday
There’s only one headcanon in my mind at this point
and it’s Toge yelling at Yuta’s lifeless body and vainly commanding him to come back
You’re as beautiful as the day I lost you…

Aight, I need y’all to follow me out on this.
Inumaki’s technique’s called cursed speech, isn’t it? I mean, it's not named cursed language or cursed communication, right? Therefore, I assume nothing happens, in terms of cursed energy, when he writes instead of talking - this opinion is also reinforced by the fact he sometimes makes gestures indicating i.e. a phone call and sends sms -
Thus, having written communication as the only way of expression, I think he’d be prone to keeping a diary, using a large vocabulary to leave a clear trace of every single thing he can’t verbally express, trying to capture their essence with an accurate calligraphy, to imagine what those words would sound like coming out of his mouth.
Eventually, Yuta finds out about it and starts leaving him notes here and there, accompanied by a pen; at the beginning, it’s just random info about Yuta's day or simple yes and no questions, to put Inumaki at ease, which happens to occur way faster than Yuta would have expected; Toge actually starts not only to enjoy Okkotsu's updates about his days, but also finds himself opening up more and more.
In a matter of months, they are basically having whole ass conversations in the middle of everything and everywhere: on the bathroom mirror, the basketball, the fridge, the tables... leaflets and slips of inked paper just keep popping out of nowhere. )They also slid them into each other’s notebooks during lessons, to Gojo’s amusement).
And when Yuta decides to go to Africa, they obviously keep that habit alive: texting would have been faster and easier, but Inumaki loved imprinting his handwriting, his scent, his feelings in every single word, imagining Yuta’s long fingers carefully tracing every letter, as if to caress the graceful hand they had been written by. He could almost see Inumaki's slim figure leaning against the headboard, the ice blonde of his hair slightly warmed up by a lazy ray of sunshine, whispering melodious words to the paper.
And oh, how many injuries and commands Yuta would have endured for a blessed hint of that cursed voice softly sighing those forbidden words in his ear in a warm, desert night...
I’ve always been fascinated by the convergence between Suguru’s CT (eating curses from the outside) and his depressive state (his own demons eating him up from the inside).
I wonder if one has been influenced by the other, like a wistful foreshadowing of Geto being destined to nothing but surrendering to his own sorrow.
To paraphrase his own, iconic words to Satoru: do Suguru’s demons take over him because he literally gets his power by swallowing monsters, or does Suguru get his power from swallowing monsters because his demons are destined to swallow him as well?
“In the morning when I wake
And the sun is coming through
Oh, you fill my lungs with sweetness
And you fill my head with you
Shall I write it in a letter?
Shall I try to get it down?
Oh, you fill my head with pieces
Of a song I can't get out” 🎶✨
No thoughts in my empty head, only Satoru styling Suguru’s hair with a curling iron and constantly burning Geto’s ears and neck.
In the end, absolutely incapable of avoiding Geto's skin, Satoru realises he should at least suffer with Suguru and lowers his Infinity, allowing his fingers to be burned in the process as well.
He knows Suguru will kiss every single burn afterwards, so Satoru doesn’t really mind, but complains the whole time anyway
“Under your scars I pray
You're like a shooting star in the rain
You're everything that feels like home to me, yeah
Under your scars, I could live inside you time after time
If you'd only let me live inside of mine”
Hurt/comfort for my bae @grezzirossi - thanks for constantly improving my mood and my rendering abilities 💕
One day, Satoru gets so demoralized at the sight of Suguru swallowing those nauseous curses he decides to cheer him up by baking a homemade cake.
That day, Suguru realises curses don’t taste that bad, after all.
the cake being atrocious doesn’t stop Suguru from eating every single crumb, just to maintain that pleased shininess in Satoru’s eyes
He even cleans the mess left by Satoru in the kitchen
you’re the fire and the flood (and i’ll always feel you in my blood)
