A colony stand of microscopic creatures that can be summoned in water. Only one stand can be summoned at a time but they quickly replicate, with each stand copying itself every 0.2 seconds. If this water enters a person's body, the stands stop replicating and start destroying themselves at a rate of ten stands per second. For every stand destroyed, the person's body temperature raises by 0.1 degrees c. If the stand user leaves the range of the stand, they stop replicating but they do not disappear and they still heat people up whilst destroying themselves.

Here's a concept that could explain this and ties into a popular fan theory around the anime:

What if, when Ash saw Ho-oh in episode 1, his wish was to be a pokemon world champion before he died (or some other way of phrasing it that's maybe more in character) and that manifested in him simply not aging until that goal was achieved, which is how he managed to do all of that whilst still remaining 10 years old, but continues aging post Journeys

Bare in mind, I came up with this idea in about 0.3 seconds, but idk, I think it's neat

Haven't written fanfic in a while (since before I had this account) but I've been slowly chipping away at a rewrite of Void Fiend's lore from ror2 and it's been really fun :). Allows the user to set a "marker" at a point in time. The marker will always be set at the time of setting. At any point after a marker is set, the user can rewind time to that marker. The user may have up to 5 markers set at any one time, choosing which one to overwrite as they create new ones. Anyone in 2085's range at the time of reset, as well as at the marker will retain their memories from before the rewind. Everyone else will forget anything that happened after the marker.
